What the hell is Ford doing here? They worked so hard crafting an image of this car. Months of speculation, Twitter HP release, just to have a Mexican review and a first time of 11.3 posted? Not a good look.

They better release the numbers soon. All they have at this point is bad publicity about this car.

On a side note this thing will deep in the 9s the first week.

Well, they have already gone an 11.0@128 since this thread was started.

So I don't think that 11.3 is all this car is capable of doing.

I am going to bet that thing that connects the engine to the rear end that is filled with magical gnomes switching the gears. But I hope not.

Seriously though the way ford likes to make cars for the aftermarket I fully expect to see some crazy times with these cars. Factory 10.72 at 133 stock. 9.42 at 153 first week.

Vbox and dragy will show any Incline in the real world, so we will know whenever stangmode or I get to post. ( i know stangmode brought a dragy)

Doesn't there have to be *just massive* improvement in engine output, let alone launch control to find half a second, let alone 1.3? Is the 9.42 car going to be running nitrous, drag slicks and in a vacuum? Or did it get dropped out of a Herc at 15,000 ft with booster rockets strapped to the undercarriage?

What's the sustained G necessary to get those 1/4 mile times? (I'm not familiar with the math)

Heh no worries on this car. People who are probably not the greatest Drag guys to begin with are running at 127+ on STREET TIRES. IN VEGAS. Let that sink in please. It basically means NOVICE drivers will get good times from these vehicles. Last I checked, 11.3@127 is not a slug mobile.

I waiting fro the atco times and the times from tracks that are nbot at crazy DA. I am waiting on the cars that will be on a DR, because nobody is going to the track to say LOOK AT ME ! I'm BONE STOCK !!!!

Also this is just ONE aspect of the car. We still have not done turns yet......
