Ford does not post lap times. Ever. Does it even matter what their pro drivers turn lap time wise? GM brags about their caged (and who knows what else) ZR1 lap times. On the other hand it's refreshing to see Randy Pobst set the road Atlanta record in someone's personal GT2RS, when he wasnt working for ChevyTrend. I assume it was a stock car but who knows.I would think Ford would use their usual test drivers and engineering teams at most of the tracks, the numbers, tech, and specs of this car are very impressive so naturally I am inquisitive about it's real world performance under stress, full tilt. I understand that they want to keep some things under wraps for marketing purposes closer to the release, but damned if I am not curious.
