Koons pricing is all over the place, they have 3 Rs one is at 73k. I think if you want to talk to them about the GT500 CF you need to walk in and talk to the owner now some random sales dude.
unless they had it hidden, i looked at every window sticker on every raptor and gt350 when i was there 3 days ago, all had +$10k market adjustment written on them

I was told by my dealer that they qualified for the Golden Ticket allocation under Fords guidelines. I've had my car on order for a couple weeks now and just got a call today and now the dealer claims the Ford rep just called and said they cant get a CFTP due to "Commodity Restrictions". So definitely a bit bummed out not sure what to do as I really wanted the CFTP Lol.
What do they mean by “commodity restrictions” I’m used to that for things that are not allowed to be sold or shipped from state to state or from overseas. I feel they might be using it to refer to Ford saying that they had to reduce their allocation because they ran out of them, that seems weird though

I'm not 100% on what they are meaning by it either my salesman texted me and that's what he said they told him. I'll be going up to the dealer tomorrow and hopefully finding out more info.

This is what will continue to happen which sucks...Many dealers already know for sure they get that allocation, and again there will be a remaining bunch that will know as orders are starting to be pulled and scheduled. The zone rep will have this info usually first. In your case either they thought they had 1 because the system at the start never rejected the CFTP option, or they do have it but playing games and selling to the highest bidder. All around it sucks I am sure.

They’re super high if they are still trying to get ADM on Raptors.

Damn, I got mine a year and a half ago for MSRP and they are regularly going for 5-10 off here now.

Well, I just sat down at the dealer this morning and my salesman talked with the regional rep for Ford and they do qualify for the Golden Ticket for the CFTP. However the rep told him that the problem is that there simply might not be enough of them to go around for all dealerships that qualify. He is unsure if he can even allocate one to our dealership and he is going to supposedly look into it and I'll know if I can get the CFTP car before they go into production. My salesman said he will pull every string available. Y'all pray for me haha! This is definitely a headache Ford is giving us over this golden ticket stuff.

Unless they make a lot less than they stated (1250) of the CFTP option...I don't see it being a problem. The way they split them up for allocations is similar to the 350s - based first on enrollment in the program and then also sales volume...and X of the standard 500 gets you x of the CFTP. I never heard of any of the original GT350Rs not being delivered after the dealer was told they had an allocation - the issue was always a dealer that didn't understand the allocation processes and I bet it's similar here.

This is sort of what I thought would happen.

I think it’s due to a second half (March production) run of the GT500.

I think that’s when most will be scheduled and built. I think commodity restriction might mean, hey we’re not building your car for 8 months, take it or leave it. And I feel they want people to leave it until then.

It's not a misunderstanding of how the allocation process works. The Ford Rep told them they have the allocation for the CFTP car. Its just as of right now there isn't enough. I'm trying to find out why I'm curious if they are going to have multiple production runs of this car or not.

I have been trying to find pictures of the standard Shelby® Exclusive Aluminum Instrument Panel and have had no luck. At least that's what I thought, it turns out the standard panel finish looks a lot like the carbon fiber panel.

Thanks to Kyle at Ford Performance who took the time to take a few pictures of a base 2020 GT500 that was sitting in their garage.

It looks like I will be saving $1000, the standard dash panel looks pretty good.

Here are the pictures of the base Shelby® Exclusive Aluminum Instrument Panel.

I can definitely agree the standard looks good. I however like the CF better, but if its a parts hold type scenario holding my car up at some point because of it, I wouldn't be disappointed to get the base aluminum bits. Now, what I would like to see is the gurney flap on the base spoiler
