I have been trying to find pictures of the standard Shelby® Exclusive Aluminum Instrument Panel and have had no luck. At least that's what I thought, it turns out the standard panel finish looks a lot like the carbon fiber panel.

Thanks to Kyle at Ford Performance who took the time to take a few pictures of a base 2020 GT500 that was sitting in their garage.

It looks like I will be saving $1000, the standard dash panel looks pretty good.

When I saw the photos of the base car at the Carlisle show I don't remember the dash having that nice of an interior. Hmmmmmm. Interesting indeed.

Can anyone explain to me, why the tech package for the 2020 GT350 costs $1,000 less than the tech package for a 2020 GT500? Am I missing something?

About as nonsensical as the over the top vinyl stripe option being $1k on the GT500 and $495 on the GT350...or...$1k for the CF dash on the GT500 and $500 for the GT350. The short answer...because they can.

Thanks for these. Once I saw Ford was being greedy shafting customers an extra $500 for the same carbon trim they are putting in the GT350 for $500, I refused. They lifted prices on all options just bc it’s a GT500.

After casting a wide net this week to about 25 dealers, I finally tracked down an allocation at a great dealership about an hour and a half away that gave me MSRP and ordered. Iconic silver base model with black stripes and black roof with the carbon fiber interior and tech package. Let the long wait begin!
