You might want to try that again. They advertise them, but they don't have them in stock. Cheapest I've ever found was Tasca at $677 for the 19x10.5 and $689 for the 19x11.I was off a bit, hubcap Haven has them for $389ea. Still well under new price.
They had 2 of them in stock last week when I was looking for them. I'm still deciding on SVE or just Rear BULLITTS for the front. If I change wheels I'm going with the lighter version. You might want to try that again. They advertise them, but they don't have them in stock. Any Mustang can. Ford's unlikely to release an official Performance Package for the 18+ though unless its based on parts from the GT500, which is as I said, unlikely. Can the PP2 be tuned via a Ford Tune (or insert any respectable aftermarket tuner here) to extract another 20-40HP? Or would it also need an intake and TB upgrade?
Well, learn something every day. I thought the Bullitt was low man on the totem pole in the FP lineup. It's technically not a part of the Ford Performance portfolio but rather a variant of the GT. Personally, I think it's quite necessary for those who like GT variants![]()
You might want to be cautious of what they have. Their fine print says sometimes they may provide OE replicas which are not necessarily OEM. The pic they have showing for the 19x11 is not OEM as you can tell by the placement of the valve stem. Though it could be just a pic of the 19x10.5 for both. They had 2 of them in stock last week when I was looking for them. I'm still deciding on SVE or just Rear BULLITTS for the front. PP2 is just like the PP1. A 93oct tune alone from Lund or PBD would give you an extra 20whp. Go E85, and you are looking at 40-50whp more. Can the PP2 be tuned via a Ford Tune (or insert any respectable aftermarket tuner here) to extract another 20-40HP? Faster doesn't = funner.I would choose neither. No 10r80, no care. “Oh, but it’s so engaging!”
Hold on to that feeling as I gap you.
You mean the 1/4 mile isn’t EVERYTHING??? What do I do now??? How do I go on???Faster doesn't = funner.
Last car I had was 440WHP AWD and MIND NUMBINGLY BORING... less than 1yr later I traded it for a slower 6spd and have 0 regrets.
That’s subjective. Maybe faster=more fun to ME!Faster doesn't = funner.

Gapped, you’d get.You mean the 1/4 mile isn’t EVERYTHING??? What do I do now??? How do I go on???
Gapped me on the straight.I would choose neither. No 10r80, no care. “Oh, but it’s so engaging!”

Yes you can "build" a PP2 with parts. But the tuning of the suspension, ABS, etc won't be there. Does that matter? Probably not but it isn't as simple as throwing on a splitter and some wheels and having a clone.
If you can get the Bullitt with Magneride you can upgrade to PP2 levels (or higher) of performance with this: https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-9602-M including tuning for the Magneride. Is the PP2 package not available on the Bullitt Mustang ? I was considering getting a Bullitt with the PP2 option If I could.
