I need new tires and I've seen several people selling pp1 2018/19 wheels & tires. Can anyone give me their opinion on them? I have stock Pirellis right now and they suck.

Thanks!
Apart from the fact they don't fit your car?

i really like the michelin pilot 4s.. they do get crappy when in cold weather but in warm weather they are great.
How would you know "they do get crappy when in cold weather"???

In stead of the MPS4s, consider the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s. They are pretty great, just lacking in the steering-feel department a bit, so you add a few more PSI.

They're amazing in the wet & cold.

I dumped the nero zeros for Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3+. Great tire for warm 50 degree and cold (I have been out on days like today with the high of 32). Great improvement but only about 100 miles on them so far. I have also used them to get over hard pack out to a clear hiway and they offer much better traction then the Neros but I kinda expected that. I still think though that anything say <25 degrees, and best to stay in the garage. But a nice sunny day at or above 32 and we are good to go.

You think your all-season tires aren't any good below freezing/25 degrees?? Why?

I did not say they were "no good". I'm just of the opinion that well below freezing will test any tires ability to hold the road and if I'm going out, then it's to have a bit of fun. I do not want to inadvertently perform a traction test under throttle. I have a Honda to get somewhere in sub freezing conditions and putt putt safely down the road. Just my own comfort zone.

Observing you can putt-putt down the road just as safely in a Mustang in sub-freezing conditions. With A/S tires, you'll do great. Even with the Summer Only tires, it's fine unless there's snow & ice covering the roads.

I've been driving my new mustang PP1 with the michelin 4s tires in sub 32 temperatures for a couple of weeks, and I see no problem. I won't take the car out if it's going to snow, or if there is gunk on the road, but on a dry road on a cold day they are quite capable. That's just my experience.

Please explain to me why 2018 factory wheels won't fit my 2015 with the same bolt pattern.
Tires. The tires won't fit your OEM wheels. An entire wheel & tire package should fit, but might need some tuning of the speedometer. It's a staggered wheel & tire package.

Yes, I know. That's why I said wheels and tires.

I second the Michelin AS3+ all-season, I run them on my C7 here in Oregon where it's typically <40Âş and a cold rain in the Willamette Valley and they do great. A lot of Corvette guys run them year round as a daily driver tire.

As mentioned, MP4S are really solid all-round summer tires. There are grippier tires, and better snow/ice tires, but the MP4S is a top tier tire and truly amazing in the wet. They last longer than the PZeros, hold better G's, and are easier to drive at the limit.

I've driven the MP4S down to freezing, and I drove their predecessor the MPSS down to 20 degrees and they grip well enough when cold, but sub freezing isn't their jam. When I replaced my MPSS tires, they did have some cracking, which might be due to me using them in sub-freezing temps.

IIRC cracking is more of a problem if the tire swings between sub-freezing temps and warmer temps in too short of a time frame.

A couple weeks ago I went to the track when it was 38 degrees and ran a 13.1 on them with the PSI at 24. I heated them up more than I normally would. But my 60Ft times sucked and that was a combo of the tires and the fact I have no aftermarket suspension on there yet (just ordered it all this week).
