Posting these pictures here in case someone else search for these wheels in the future. I mounted Sport Cup 2s, 275/35/19s in the front and 295/35/19s in the rear.
I really like the look!
I decided to go with the Sport Cup 2s in 275/35/19 and 295/35/19.
I finally decided on this size combination for several reasons. I could have gone wider, but for looks I wanted to keep the front and rear diameter as large as possible and still have the front diameter larger than the rears. For...
I've had my PP1 original springs and struts sitting in my garage for a year collecting dust. Is there an easy way to get rid of these without just throwing them in the trash?
Hey Bikeman315, thanks for the friendly response.
I'm interested to know if anyone has actually run a 285/35 on a 19x9.5 wheel. And what their subjective experience was. Or in general if they have run a tire that was on the wide end of the allowable wheel specs. I'm guessing that while not...
I might try that except the tires I want don’t come in that size. According to the Goodyear specs the 285 should work with the 9.5 inch rim.
hopefully it drives great.
Ok. I bought the wheels from CJ Pony parts and I have them (including lug nuts and TPMS)!
9.5/19 Front, 11/19 Rear.
Now I need to get the tires. I'm going to get the EAGLE F1 SUPERCAR 3 tires from tirerack.
285/35/19 Front
305/30/19 Back
Thoughts?
Won't be able to use them much until...
I had pretty much determined I was going to go staggered 19x10 front and 19x11 rear. I was going to run 285/35 up front and 305/30 in the rear. LMR didn't have the sales I was expecting, so I opened up my search.
I really like the look of the chrome powder Shelby CS5. The rears are 11 inches...
So any Black Friday deals out there? I've been waiting a year for this and I haven't seen anything yet.
If nothing shows up, I will definitely wait until spring to purchase since I won't be able to run my preferred tires until then.
My original post describes what I want pretty well. Basically a tire that comes in 19 inch 285/305 and is more trackable than the Michelin PS4S, but still somewhat civilized for the street. I'm not competing or doing serious track events, just going for fun. If I go to the track 2 or 3 times a...
On black Friday I intend to buy new wheels: 19x10 front, 19x11 rears. I've been looking for the right tire in 285/35/19 and 305/30/19, that would be good enough to track but also civilized enough for other spirited summer driving. (I have a set of Michelin all seasons on the stock PP1 wheels for...
I will be purchasing new wheels for my lowered 2019 PP1 mustang soon (black Friday). My plan is to use the new setup for 3 or 4 track days a year and also fun summer driving. I have a set of all seasons for the stock wheels for the rest of the time. I want to run RS4s for their track...
Thanks for all the responses. Not exactly what I was wanting to hear, but that's why I asked.
So if I'm only going to run two sets of wheels (I don't think I want to store more than 1 extra set of wheels), I may just end up running my Michelin AS3+ on my stock PP1 rims as my default year round...
I'm planning on going with a 285/35 R19 squared set up.
This is for my daily driver, with lowered suspension. My goal is to have a sporty daily driver, and have fun on the track, not set the new track record.
What would be a good compromise of a performance summer tire that I could daily drive...
