I don't think E85 or the Flex tune is causing it. Don't get me wrong, the intake works great and I may be blowing the hesitation out of proportion.

Well mine just came in. I am planning on doing a 93 tune so do you think it has to do with you having flex fuel?

Will do. I know I will lose the mid range torque unfortunately.
Let us know how it feels going back ... at times I wonder what it'd be like again but I'm afraid I'd prefer the F150 more and then have to do a 3rd mani swap. :headbonk:

...I am having mid range surging issues and slow throttle response...
Not me.

I went from my stock GT intake to the F150 intake with no revisions to my LUND FF tune, and the car runs/pull/revs smoothly and strongly throughout the RPM range.

Is your signatures modlist complete and current? I wonder if the intake doesn't like a combination of something with the tune?

For engine mods my signature is complete. The PMAS intake has been a headache. Tune is spot on for it but the 150 degree intake temps are annoying and initially the intake kept coming apart. I'm starting to wonder if the reason my F-150 intake was a "take off part" was because there was something wrong with CMCV's and they aren't opening all the way.

Anybody have a CAI with theirs? I already have a K&N filter in but was going to get in on the 4th of July Pmas special. Now thinking about just getting an intake tube.

Honestly, avoid the PMAS if you live in a hot climate. And don't expect much out of that excuse of a heat shield.

Mishimoto is the best you can get!

Been looking at that all day. I see K&N has one too that includes a filter ( even though I already have that in). The Dyno review on AM says 30+ HP and Tq so I might pick that up. Now just to swing more money for a tune and device

I know for a fact the Mishimoto outperforms it. With out a tune.

If anyone finds a deal on a takeoff one, let me know. I wouldn't mind trying it out considering it's basically direct bolt on.
