Received my Steeda clutch spring and promptly installed it after removing the stock one and going out on a quick drive with no spring for comparison.

I'm now back to feeling like I know how to drive a manual. :clap2: Having driven manuals for the last 17 years, it was embarrassing being jerky with 1-2 and 2-3 shifts due to the stock spring. What were they thinking?!?

Removing the spring was my first mod in my 2016 MT6. Everyday is leg day with the stock one. I'm sure it feels even better with a lighter spring with a little resistance.

Ive had a manual before so its not that. but I also felt like the clutch was not so forgiving for a 2016 vehicle. Very hard to get smooth transitions from 1-2 and 2-3 without slipping the clutch more then comfortable with.

Are you guys doing just the spring kit or spring and perch?

The spring is worth every penny. You only need the perch if you break your stock plastic one. The perch kit is a massive waste of money otherwise imo

I didn't get the perch either. Just take your time and be careful not to break the original one; it works fine with the Steeda spring.

Put some kilmat in the trunk floor and trunk lid. Also removed the gold plastidip from the side emblems and front pony. The color experiment is over, back to black. The gold made the car look a little too Iron Man for my taste.

Ordered a new set of track specific wheels.

Cut my diffuser fins to better match lines of the bumper.
Installed a Scott drake black&machined fuel door.
Replaced decklid pony emblem with a gt40 style emblem looks much better imo:ford:

Fair warning to anyone who removes their 18 decklid panel? Pulling the top clips out literally feels like the panel will break. Mine flexed&bent like crazy even though I went slowly clip by clip. It isn't necessary to remove all push pins from the lid to get at the camera connector. Finally the panel itself is rather fn flimsy overall and as everyone knows prone to scratches:doh:

Rotate tires, polish wheels, clean undercarriage, record tread depth, touch up caliper paint. Only 3k mi., but I'm getting ready for a long road trip.
BTW, I found out the tire pressure monitors are self relearning.

I removed and reinstalled the stripes on my wing last night. I was never happy with where the seam ended up, so redo!

Went to the track one last time before I put the new manifold, fuel injectors, and flex fuel tune on. I ran back to back 12.8s @ 112-113 which only tied my personal best, so I was initially disappointed until I found out the DA was over 2200. The Drag Times DA calculator corrected that to 12.46 @ 116. I don't know how much stock people put in those but I'd be very happy with that if it's accurate.
