  2. Rebuilding 6 piston for my GT (Quick question)

x2 the rock auto ones fit. Assembly lube helps. The piston seal is in the bore and the boot seal goes around the upper ring on the piston.
  3. Enclosed cargo trailer for the wide GT350R

TL.DR set the car between the wheel wells and use a winch to pull it in or load more tongue weight to keep the rear wheels from coming up to the wheel wells. 96” inside then subtract wheel wells. Mine fits between the wheel wells but only has a few inches on either side. A GT has a 75.4” width...

  5. Season starting soon, let's talk track tires.

I'm on my second set of 3Rs, these have 8 days (3@daytona, 2@Summit Main, 2@NJMP, 1@Summit Shenandoah) and 35 heat cycles as of this past weekend (square and rotating often). -3.0*/-2.5* F/R camber and they're only showing wear on the outer ~2" of the tire. Looks like they'll heat cycle out...

  8. FS - DSS 800HP Level 4 Axles - BNIB **SOLD**

Bought the car intending to drag race it with a power adder. Ended up getting hooked on HPDE so that’s what the car is set up for now and it will stay that way (and NA). No longer need the axles as I will not launch the car, drag race it, or add a power adder.

  10. Track day prep

Ford Performance Track Handling Pack: M-FR3A-M8A Sounds like a Track Night in America event. I thought you were there for a 2-3 day event. Not sure if TNIA rents garages. Prob won't need one if just there for a few hours. I've never attended a TNIA event but the same track configuration is...

  12. First Track Day Prep and Expectations

Good stuff. Would also suggest pulling the hood latch once you're off track and do a lap or two around the lot to let things cool down at low rpm. When you park the car after cool down, do not use the e-brake, put the car in gear and turn it off. Rear rotors will be hot and the pads pressed...
  13. GT350 Wheels and tires for the track.

The clutch and brakes share the same fluid reservoir on these cars. Pic below is from flushing my brakes, you can see the old fluid in the clutch section of the reservoir and the clutch line.
  14. Track day prep

Daytona is high rpm and heavy on brakes at the bus stop and into turn 1. Flushing the brakes would be a good idea and will set you up for maintenance bleeding for future events this year. Bring or borrow a torque wrench and air pressure gauge. Would suggest renting a garage. I'm partial to...
  15. GT350 Wheels and tires for the track.

Have track experience? Tire and brake recommendation would depend on experience. I like Goodyear 3R and Ferodo pads but slightly different application. 19x11 with the same offset and 305s all around is very popular. This allows you to rotate and keep tires longer. Depending on the track, it...
  16. Forum promo code Steeda?

Can I have the forum discount code for an order? Looking to order S550 Front Control Arms (Lateral and Tension Links w/ Bearings) PN 555-4909 and S550 Stainless Braided Hose Front & Rear Brake Lines PN 555-6027 ASAP. Thanks.
  17. My Suspension Plan What you Think

Consider the same ET52 wheel offset (with extended studs and a spacer) to rotate tires. This is especially helpful if you run different tracks and/or multiple day events. Tires and brakes will be your biggest $ consumables with this car.
