If you are talking about the dynamat, you can trim that to fit. Or just roll it around corners and affix as needed. It’s pretty flexible/sticky stuff. My sheet was bigger than necessary, so i covered every part i could to cut down on possible NVH while i was under there. Those who’ve done the install, how’s your heat shield holding up? It didn’t seem like a flush fit to me..
Hah! It gets easier if you have to take it off and put it back on a couple of times. I had to readjust my lateral limit a couple of times, and by the third time it was just like the video shows. First time through, not so much.Video instructions are excellent. The ease of placing the rubber boot over the shifter is highly misleading, though.
I had to. No way around the drive shaft, and it was hard to reach the bolt even with it lowered!Did you lower the rear of the transmission? Some say they have done the install without doing that and I can't imagine it. Once lowered though it is pretty easy to access that bolt. It is more a matter of visualization than anything, as you have to feel what you can't see.
