Installed my manifold today! After sitting in the box for 6 months lol.

I was worried about the PCV differences between F150 and ours, and then N/A vs. FI since nobody had done it yet. All for nothing, the install was so easy and straightforward. Removed manifold, swapped over parts and lines, reassemble. Everything went back and was routed exactly like it was before, zero changes. Hardest part were those damn double hose clamps and wiring on the back.

Only took it for a quick spin but it felt good. Seemed like power might have hit harder on the initial hit, and that at part throttle it revved out to 4k smoother, but that could just be in my mind. I need some real drive time with it to see. Hopefully as the rain clears up here I can get some pulls next week and send some logs to Lund to see if anything can be tweaked. Then I'll be re-dyno'ing for comparison with OEM on Saturday. I was very surprised at how much of a physical difference is apparent between the two. You can really tell the manifold is much taller and runners are longer.

Tons of pics below, Since there's so many I'll post as thumbnails and you guys can click to see the full size if you want rather than filling the page lol.

Thanks man! The manifold gives it a nice aggressive look too.

Jelly I am.
Thank you

That's what I'm hoping! My stock mani seemed to run out of steam and flatline on the dyno around 7k, so I'm interested to see how much sooner this one does. I rev to 7200-7500 and I can't feel the 7k flatline on the street, so again I wonder how it will feel with the F150 regardless of the dyno chart. I'm just hoping I dont lose much in the upper RPMs with this mani, and I'm thinking since boost builds with RPM that I wont (or at least not much). It will be worth it for a substantial gain between 3k-6k.

I dyno'ed over the weekend for a baseline and I'll be back on the same dyno this coming saturday.

I don’t see this mani ever doing much last 6500, but if someone figures it out would be awesome.

^^^Agreed...this is where the tuners have the opportunity to make this mani waaaaaay better than stock.

^^^Agreed...this is where the tuners have the opportunity to make this mani waaaaaay better than stock. I could see a PD blower doing awesome with the F150 mani, but hair dryer style relies on winding the motor up and this mani has shown it falls off in the upper rpms, hence why I said what I said about the tuners having an opportunity here....imho that is.
Well a PD uses it's own manifold so to speak so you wouldn't be able to change it. I'm not sure how much a tune will be able to help it may just be the design of the runners. I'm just thinking the increasing boost may overcome that, we will see. I have a wastegated Procharger so my power comes on pretty quickly compared to a regular centri. But boost still climbs with RPM.

We will see how much Lund can do for it this week! Going to do some logging on Tuesday.

Hahaha no problem. I'm more offended that you called my supercharger a hair dryer...  :D

Finally getting warm enough here so that I can get mine installed (maybe even this weekend if I can sneak away from kid duty). All of the install videos say to pull the fuel pump plug under the rear seat and run til the lines are dry before removing the injectors. With 2 car seats in the back that's a PITA. Can I just pull the fuse for the pump and run out the lines w/o removing the back seat?

Yep, just pull the fuse in the engine bay fuse box and start the car for a few seconds. I've done it countless times this way, I even know which fuse it is without looking now lol.

Initial thoughts on the manifold...
It does have a harder bite in the low end when hitting the throttle, however at least in my setup, I could feel it losing steam not long after. It seemed like the car did not really want to rev out and kind of stumbled around 5-6k. Not a night and day difference, but I'm interested if a tune can help it. Part throttle seems faster for the same amount of pedal vs. the stock manifold.

Unfortunately, unrelated to the manifold, my engine may have went kaboom last night, so I might not be able to get that dyno comparison after all. Numbers wont be apples to apples comparison with a different motor in it.
