Question

Is it my imagination or is my Active exhaust getting louder. I have 2000 miles on the clock in my 2018 GT Premium with 6 sp trans. I swear the exhaust note is noticeably louder. I do not beat on my car but I do push it on the Highway here in the South. Many people have come up to me and said the exhaust sounds great. I keep it in normal mode but it seems to be getting louder.

Has anyone else noticed this?

As a side note I pulled the tires and checked them over then retorqued the wheels as I'm heading North for a few days. The best Mod I bolted to my car is the BMR JACKING RAILS. It's now a walk in the park to change wheels, money well spent.

I don't know about louder or if it is the same for you, but the sound of my exhaust definitely changed after a week or two. Could be once the pipes get some material coated on them and whatever residual material is burned off from production.

Finished installing my new suspension parts, mainly Ford Performance Track shocks/struts with Steeda min drop springs, and installed my new Krona catback.

The ride is now superb, and it sits just right for me, but OH MY GAWD that sound. I knew I wanted the Krona a year ago and decided it might be too loud, so I went with the Corsa Touring instead. What a mistake, this is so much better I can't even wrap my head around it. The parts are beautiful, the best clamps I've ever seen on an aftermarket exhaust, and fitment was spot on unlike the Corsa. Best money I've spent on the car so far.

Obligatory new stance pic:

Got my custom cobbled together using ebay parts exhaust installed. Total cost $285, owner of the shop said it was his favorite one he's done on an eb stang so far. Looks good, and sounds super smooth. Saved 25-35# if I had to guess. Staring at my cars big butt got me to think of a few ideas for customizing the rear diffuser to (=
Also did the clutch spring removal and I do like it better than before, feel wise when shifting. Added premium foot pedals I scored on eBay for $25 from a Roush take off conversion. And cut the lower horizontal bars out from the lower grille(looks much meaner imo. Should blend well with the pp1 splitter, open gt upper I plan on adding later&possibly roush fog pockets.

was going to put on the AM tint kit but plans went awry. started with a nice small flat piece on the rear passenger side marker and the tint piece was too small and didn't cover the entire light. double checked that i had the right piece and then looked at a few more, all were too small to cover the light it was cut for. can't return the kit as i bought from a member here.

decided to at least put on the tail light tint to get an idea of how it would look and some practice installing. as you can see here there is a very noticeable amount of light not covered on the top of each piece. will be looking into another vendor but these will stay on temporarily.

Installed my Vegen Split 5's 20x 10.5 wheels with 305/30/20 squared on all 4 corners. Steeda springs and Struts Sunday. New stance should be sweet!

Upgraded my BOV vacuum line from a 5/32, which was too small, to a 3/16" to match the rest of my lines. Secured and neatened them up.
