Picking her up from the body shop in a few.. finally got around to having the drivers side fender aligned.. It never really bothered me.. but I noticed the paint on door and fender (the flange) was starting to wear thin....

FWIW I still think the 3160 trans is just clunky... but it handles the power well and seems to hold up on track, and when shifting really fast I've not had any issues.

Also, the only time I've ever had it grind was when it didn't fully engage 1st and I didn't notice. I haven't had that yet with the Motul (and didn't have it with the BGII either)

Well was going to do the "Green Filter" today, but they sent me the wrong size. Plus it was the "oiled" one...Grrrrrrrrrr...so brushed off the stocker and back in she went. Checked oil as well. Still good, will change at 3k or near...sitting at 2120 now.

People bitch WAY to much about oiled filters. Even Ford Performance sells K&N filters, they used to sell blue S&B filters. They clearly see no problem with them.

Now the safety wire will wear a hole through the filter casing due to the incessant vibration of the FPC engine. You'll probably need to check it at every fill up, just to be sure.

Checked my oil level. It's been a little over 3K miles since my last oil change. Level was just above the lower hole, ~ 1/4 of the distance between the two holes. Added 1/2 quart, started engine, waited for oil to drain back down. Level was slightly below the top hole, ~ 1/4 of the distance between the two holes. So I burned ~ 3/4 of a quart in a little over 3K miles. Seems good to me.

Went by Limitless Motorworks to see how the Steeda suspension, FP springs and MGW shifter install was going, all looked good, front sway bar was going in, everything so far looks good and everything is plug and play.

I actually fastened a worm drive hose clamp around the filter and wired around the hex head to a frame brace to prevent it from moving counter-clockwise. Wire doesn't touch the filter.
