So far you'd rather show inability to use any technical terms or show any data than won anything. If you're claiming it speeds anything up, provide evidence.
Otherwise you sounds like flat earther....
People who know the earth is flat have facts and evidence this guy just likes to talk like hes selling the thing.

I own it, I use it, I experience the tremendous benefit it offers, so when anyway minimizes or ridicules my decision to purchase one, I'm not going to idly sit by and let it happen without saying my piece.

btw, did you just post that flat earthers "have facts and evidence" as to suggest they can substantiate their view?

So what is this tremendous benefit it offers ? Just please don't use meaningless subjective terms like "improved throttle responsiveness".

It does improve throttle responsiveness btw but to answer your question, which I provided to bluemustang when he asked,

"What makes it so satisfying is because it makes the car feel like it has a whole lot of low end torque. Low end torque is satisfying. The coyote motor is lacking in this department.

And as you've answered yourself, no tune has done it nearly to the degree that is accomplished with the pedal commander."

Sprintbooster says it modulates the throttle curve...makes it feel more powerful. While they don't advertise their products this way, JMS and Pedal Commander explain how they accomplish this and that's by increasing the signal speed from the pedal to the throttle control. They don't touch a car's PCM so they don't leave any digital footprint, it's all electrical, so I would call increasing the rate of the throttle signal as increasing the throttle rate.

And by feel, I mean behave, to not suggest it's all in the mind.

It’s all in your head. By turning the throttle into more of an “on-off” switch it makes the car “feel” like it’s faster to those that aren’t accustomed to pressing farther down on the throttle. For whatever reason, there are many out there they don’t feel like the car is making any power if they have to press down farther to feel it. This is all a mental issue, not a physical issue.

The car won’t accelerate any faster, it won’t have less throttle lag, it won’t provide any performance benefit. If it make the car more enjoyable for you, it’s done its job. For the rest of us, we are perfectly happy to press down a touch farther on the pedal. I personally enjoy the modulation.

I don't get why this thread is this long lol. Millhouse and many others here have it right, it turns the throttle to more of an on/off switch than something with a broader input band (stock). The pedalmax writeup even says it does not make the car faster... only feel faster... which is still kinda BS. Of course it "feels faster", but it only feels faster than if compared to the same amount of pedal deflection as stock. This can simply be brought to a level playing field by applying more throttle. pedalmax makes you hit 100% throttle before you push the pedal to the stock 100% point. All you need to do is push the pedal further and voila! holy shit the car "feels faster". It is no secret the further you push the pedal the faster the car goes.

If you love the product, good for you its on your car. Agreeing with Millhouse again, I'd rather have the ability to modulate the throttle across the range. I guarantee you a non pedalmax car will be faster around a track, especially a technical track, than a non pedalmax car with the same driver. Some corners need low to mid throttle, which your low to mid range is almost non existent... that's the sacrifice you give up for a "faster feel" lol. Stop being lazy, if you wanna go fast punch it and save the rest of the pedal range for when you need to drive it.

No, it's faster. You can press the pedal further and as fast as you want, but the person with pedal commander can still arrive there quicker. So it's faster.

You're basically claiming that the same runner can run a 1/2 mile faster than a 1/4.

You can argue all you want about modulation, as if it is an on/off switch but those who own it know it's not. Continue to patronize and ridicule us, but know you're wrong. It's faster.

Holy shit, I can’t believe you are trying to argue this. Do you not understand what you are saying? Do you honestly believe the amount of throttle response time when mashing the pedal with or without the pedal commander is measurable?

As for your ½ mile comment, I have no clue what you’re talking about.

In regards to modulation, the pedal commander is reducing it….plain and simple. If you want a more throttle output from less pedal input, modulation is reduced. You have less control over the throttle…meaning you turn it into more of an on off switch.

How do you not understand that the pedal commander offers no performance gains and is simply and input/output modulator?

No performance gain on a dyno. but if i can get the throttle to respond quicker, that's not an advantage? get the f* out of here idiot.

I'm surprised he hasn't drowned in the Koolaid with the gulps he is taking.

Don't you think if it was actually, measurable faster that the manufacturer would claim that?! The manufacturer themselves says it makes the car "feel faster", because that is all it does... feel not real. It is all in your head.

If it was faster every drag racer would have one, every track guy would have one, and boy racer would for that matter. Any drag guy would kill to shave .1 seconds... shit most guys spend thousands to shave tenths. If this was truly a magical box that made the car faster for $300 EVERYONE would have one!

You can do the same thing by pushing the pedal harder... how do you not get this? Keep berating everyone because you can't wrap your head around a simple concept if you wan't but you don't know what you are talking about.

holy shit lol. :headbonk:

Have fun trying to justify the advantage of that .00001 second delta.

He doesn't....I won't mention it again to him as he obviously has no clue.

Have you used it? Have those drivers who race tried it or are they just like you? refusing to test it, because they've dug their heels so deep in the sand and to do it would be too embarrassing to admit they're wrong. Because all I hear are from people who haven't used it but pretend to be expects on exactly how the car behaves with it. Get off your high horse dude.

i haven't berated anyone, but I've received a lot of ridicule for having purchased it and use it. So don't say it's good for those who like it, but are essentially "morons" for using it. That doesn't come off good.

The ridicule isn't from you purchasing it...it's from your arguments on what it does. I have no problems with the product itself...or those that choose to use it.

You aren't using facts to argue your point. I don't need to use it to know what it does, that and I have talked to people who have used it and came to the same opinion as me. I'm an engineer, I know how this product works. Thing is you don't have to be an engineer to know how this product works, it is extremely straight forward.

I'm glad you think the car is faster, best $300 YOU could have spend. Enjoy it, but don't be a dick because people don't agree and offer facts instead of opinion and feelings. Stop feeling so offended because people disagree
