Seems to me that you'd be able to install/remove it from the side we're looking at in that diagram and my picture above. It's used for accessing the fasteners that secure the torque converter to the flywheel in auto cars right? Thanks for the info! I'm hopeful I can get the plug and just install it myself easily enough.
