Grats man. Little frustrating about the semi-shoddy details but I'm sure it's outweighed by having the car back!

Congrats. It's a shame it took so long and was such a struggle

It sucked being without the car for so long but I was taken care. Ford also is providing me with an extended warranty 5yr 60k. I could probably have fought harder to have them buy the car back but to me the headache and time without the car or waiting on a new car is not worth the hassle. Know I will be installing my rear seat delete and waiting for the beginning of next track season which here in Alabama starts in January!!!!!

I have put about 300 miles on the new motor. Drives like a champ. EVERYONE PLEASE CHECK YOUR FILTER!This weekend I installed the Borla Atak (INSANE!) and also received my filter socket (Flute). So I did the natural thing and I TQ checked the filter. Guess what?????? YUP! not to spec. Then I turned it with my hand a few degrees, checked it, still not to spec. Finally I put the wrench back on it and it almost turned 180 before reaching spec tq. Engine new with oil and filter....CRAZY!!!

Harold I did my first oil change today on the new engine, I'm going to update my thread with all my complaints but I wanted to mention here that the filter on the new engine was at least torqued to 24 Nm. Did you notice the green line they put on the filter and housing, presumably from the factory? If you were to look at the filter installed on the engine from the end where the torque spec sticker is, the line is around 10 o'clock. My factory installed filter still lined up with the mark on the housing before I removed it.

The mark is similar to how they marked the plug (with yellow HS painted on it) held in with a snapring in Sammy's pic:
