Okay. Good stuff. Trust me, whether the vette experienced this or not...you will def be happy u did it on the GT350.
I have an R so the tires are slightly wider than yours and my tires are slightly more sticky but I'm sure you'll have the same issue. Unless you have the 2019 GT350, in which...
You're not doing the rear quarter panels? or fenders? Rear quarters are VERY important...I see more nicks and film damage there than anywhere else...even the front bumper is in better condition than the rear quarters (don't get me wrong...mine still looks very good...I'm pretty careful with...
Well if your entire car is red that means you would have to get film on the entire car which will be quite expensive.
Best to do film on the front quarter panels, hood and bumper and do ceramic coating (like CQuartz) on the rest.
as I said earlier...I’ve had no regrets putting it over the stripes
Hey, I used Advance Automotive Films (for PPF) and GTA in Detail (car prep and cQuartz).
They’re in Mississauga, they are a bit more expensive but the job is very very good. You get what you pay for man.
No problem covering the stripes. There is a very small gap you see but it's almost unnoticeable. If a stone hits those stripes they will nick. I wouldn't do multiple pieces
Yup. Toatally agree. Rear quarters in front of the rear wheel are the worst by far. I'd say even worse than the front bumper (unless you often tailgate or track your car within close proximity to the driver in front).
I would never do partial hood or partial front fenders...doesn't really...
Yup, this is my original thread. Got 3M Pro Series on my 2017 and it has held up remarkably well. It has saved my paint multiple times from rock chips to flying soda cans on the highway (literally).
Full front hood and fenders, bumper, rocker panel, partial back quarter panels (impact area in...
The lightning blue is amazing. If I was to buy again it would be the same colour. I love it and the amount of positive, smiling comments I get “wow, nice car, amazing colour” actually shocks me. I’ve had BMW’s (no comments ever...I guess that’s saying something) ...the Range Rover gets more...
Ya totally. I think everyone saw the lightning blue w/Black ott stripes in the marketing material from Ford and ordered that. I had originally ordered the black stripes as well. Glad I changed but it’s all personal preference, whatever you like best! :)
Thanks...ya, for any of you who are wondering about the lightning blue, that’s pretty true to the color. It still mesmerizes me in most lighting conditions.

Hey guys, posted in the other thread, but those who don't have subscription and here's some vids of my R...lightning blue.
Long overdue post. Haha. Got my R last year, here are a few videos (walkaround of the lightning blue w/white stripes) and a few videos I've taken or had taken of the R...

Thanks for the reply, I wound up taking it to Barrie Ford (Mapleview Drive & 400N) and they did a great, clean job. Annnnnd they replaced my crappy, plastic, broken hood vent under warranty!
