Are suspension upgrades very noticeable?

with a non pp it sounds from all that i have researched that the FRPP track package is the best bang for buck value. upgrades most of the suspension components at a price you cant beat doing it piece by piece. from non pp to FRPP track package you basically bypass the PP level and go beyond for cheaper. only thing you are missing out on at this point from the pp is the brembos.

with PP tho, i personally have only gotten around to BMR performance lowering springs and it is a very noticeable difference. much more planted, comfortable and predictable. i have literally no downside to switching out the springs.

As per usual, I agree with Norm and Wildcat regarding two main concepts:

1. The actual 'performance' of a stock PP car is far more than anyone would ever need on the street and so any attempt at increasing its limits is pointless. From this, the goal is then not to increase performance but rather change the "feel" of the car to suit the driver. Springs will change the feel but they will not increase performance, and, can very easily decrease performance if a holistic approach isn't taken. A good damper will do more than any other suspension mod, besides tires.

2. For a pure street car and if you're not in your 20s, removing rubber is generally a bad idea as the car will become a chore to drive 'normally'. Even the BMR lockout kit, as good as it is, reduces comfort notably all by itself, as an example. And this mod doesn't remove any rubber.

This may ruffle some feathers, but be very skeptical of the "zero NVH" claims as they are 99% of the time total BS. What they should say is "yes, there is more NVH but it doesn't bother me". There is no free lunch - you want more precision you will almost certainly give up some comfort for a given platform.

THIS, to me, is a true statement and a very good way of looking at it. I knew prior going into the suspension mods that the car would lose some of the ride comfort. It did lose some, but nothing that is horribly bad. But WOW, does it handle. That's what I was aiming for, and knew I had to give up some to get some.

In a nutshell to the Op's question, absolutely. With a suspension and tire/wheel upgrade, the car handles like a supercar and that isn't an exaggeration.
