Thanks for the heads up man.Yep.. might want to check the pistons for damage. Those pieces bouncing around can do some damage. Also check your pickup tube to make sure they aren't lodged in there.
We did find one of the brocken pieces of the squirters lodged in the Pick up tube .
We could not get it out and since the tube is incorporated into the GT 350 pan I had to order a new GT 350 pan.I could not go back to a stock pan since I am using a GT 350 oil pump (installed billet gears) which will only work with that pick up tube .
Also going to cost another 5-6 hours of labour to remove the rest of the squirters and install the block off plates .....this car is killing me! Trying to pay me back for trying to trade her ?
At this rate I will have so much in her it will be foolish for me to try and sell it since not going to get any of it back.
In the meantime the Helljon car is just purring and so smooth with the 5.2/GT 350 long block .The car is so NICE(premium /recaro) I don't think I can bring myself to beat her up again at the dragstrip like I had done when I was chasing that mid 9 second slip .......and I would be devastated if that engine should let go(despite the sleeves and 1500 hp rating )
I certainly will feel better beating up this damn KB car .
