I'll be purchasing a Whipple for my new 2017 Mustang GT in the next few weeks. Still waiting for the car to be built. The car will be for daily driving 95% of the time, parked in the winter, but of course I will be pushing it occasionally, but don't plan in the near future to take it to the track for drag racing. I may eventually take it to the track (albeit rarely) just to get some times to see what it is capable of
Given the above, the question I have is. Should I go with the Stage 1 or Stage 2? The Stage 1 will likely meet my daily driver needs as it has lots of power and is less expensive, however I've read some reviews that suggest that the larger throttle body and the tune provided with the Stage 2 setup actually give the car significantly better and more consistent daily drive-ability???
Anyone had experience in driving both the Stage 1 and Stage 2 and what are your thoughts on this? Is the Stage 2 tune really that much better for daily driving?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
