Shift Knobs

I got a similar shift knob from CJPP. It looks smaller than the stock one, but I'm guessing there won't be a gap between the aftermarket shift knob ball and the reverse pull up thing? I'm getting ready for install in a few mins so just wanted to check with someone here first.

Just installed mine and I LOVE it! Wow. As a new "stick" driver, I'm so happy I did this. I honestly feel a bit more confident shifting because of the way I can push the shift knob with the palm of my hand vs me trying to make sure my hand don't slip with the leather stock shift knob.

I have this one with black stripes like my car. Love it. I liked the stock one too. It this ball style is just way better.

Yeah. As opposed to trying to figure out the right way to grab or push the stock shift knob, it just seems so natural with a ball instead IMHO.

This knob will be going in when I get my MGW. Had it on my GT. Has interchangeable thread insert so just have to get an insert for the 350 pitch.

Is that the MGW shifter right there? If so, how do you like it? I just installed my shift knob and now I've gained a lot of interest in the MGW shifter. Just looks so damn short though.

Yeah, mgw on my 15. Best. Mod. Ever. It's really not that short, much more sporty. Once you use it, going back to stock feels like an old school pickup truck shifter. Any time I valet I got compliments on how well she shifted.

Thanks for the info man. I'm gonna check out this local guy's MGW shifter. This might be my next mod lol.

Man that loctite crap was a bitch! Almost broke my wrist taking off the stock shift knob...pretty much ruined it too. That's OK, as I will be keeping this knob for as long as I have the car, and can always get a new stock one to bring it back to bone stock.

The problem with billet and other metal knobs is they'll blister your palm in the summer and are like shifting an ice cube in the winter.

Got my MGW shifter installed and I love it, just like you said, lol. I ordered another shift knob from [MENTION=19132]Anarchy Motive[/MENTION] though since the CJPP shift knob is light as well, and I can feel every little thing in the shifter when shifting. Going to look similar, but better, and be much heavier

I knew you would, there's no way you can't. I'm getting mine for a Christmas present for the 350. Already have a new thread insert for my Abrams knob.
