the gripper part is a polymer blend or rubber, pvc and silcone. it is VERY durable and feels and looks great.

The base and top are CNC machined 6061 aluminum and coated with a special color pewter anodize to match the bezels.

We also offer a weighted version if chrome .

I would not do any other colors because they will clash with the pewter shift bezel.

MAYBE red might not look too bad.

Anyone have any experience with twistedshifterz.com? I ordered the one pictured. They seem to have a lot of customizable options. Picture is just from their email rendering. Black with silver shift pattern and cobras. I will post some actual pics when I get it.

Good luck getting it off if they put the red loctite on it like they did mine. Made another thread showing how difficult it was. But worth it. I love my new knob. Heavier and sits lower and has a smoother feel to it. Can't wait to pair it with an MGW shifter when he releases it

Just got my shift knob from lathewerks...that thing is heavy! Looks and feels great. I hope its not too much weight for proper gear engagement. Cant wait to get my car and start installing some of this stuff...

You won't have any issue. I've never once missed a gear or not had it go in due to the shift knob.

The handle and knob itself. I do have the leather of the boot and handbreak as well as the center console from JPM in Alcantara already.
