How the hell do you get the GT350 shift knob off? I can turn it about 1/8 of a turn either clockwise or counter clockwise from its center point, but nothing after that. Just got my new lathewerkz knob in today and want to put it on

IMHO, red Loctite should require a license to buy

Use a wet rag and turn for what seems like forever. I had to put everything I had to finish it off.

Mine was loose from the factory. No red thread locker on it - you just have to GO FOR IT AND TURN THE SHIT OUT OF IT.

The thread locker on it is effective stuff and it takes a few really good rotations to get it loose enough to come off easy.

I ended up throwing some blue thread locker on the spindle and calling it a day when I fixed mine.
