That's what I've been using for many years.

And these will last forever drying cars because they are just rebranded large pet dryers that groomers use. So they are built to be used multiple times per day. The only (and it is tiny) downside is since most pets aren't as large as a car, these do (or did) come with a cord not long enough to move it around some cars depending on where the outlet is in the garage. So a large gauge extension may be needed.

We have a little dog that we could shoot against the wall with the Master Blaster

I also use a ceramic coating so there is no need for me to use deionized water.

The one thing I wish I had done as my first mod was the resonator delete. I had this done on Saturday and the car screams with the valves open above 4k RPM. Pops and rumbles. Best 110 bucks I spent. Just make sure your installer is experienced with welding stainless steel. So many shops can't work with SS.

As a new stick/manual driver, getting the Steeda clutch spring and an aftermarket shift knob (I got one by CJPP) are two things I wish I had done much sooner. I've only had my car for like 2-3 weeks now, but it's something I'd do on day 1 if I had to do it again and knowing what I know now.

For me, I think a ball shift knob feels so much more natural to shift with and grab vs the stock shift knob. With the stock shift knob, I've always wondered what's the best hand movement/position that I need to learn when shifting so that I don't miss a gear, and plus it was just a tad bit more difficult to grip and move (I'm sure it's just me). It's probably just a noob thing but it's one less thing I'm worrying about now as I'm getting used to this.

Steeda clutch spring was also a huge help for me. I drove [MENTION=8178]SynisterGT[/MENTION]'s GT a few hours before taking delivery of my GT350 to get used to driving stick and he has his stock clutch spring removed. Considering it was the first time really driving manual for me, I hadn't stalled his car not even once in a good 10-15 minute session of taking off, reverse, etc. Took delivery of my 350 and realized it was much more difficult trying to find this engagement point and of course had a stalling party. My 350 was bucking every 10 minutes lol. Replaced my spring a few days ago and it's been much better.

So yeah, I'm sure my "what I wish I had done" list is just for noobs, but figured I'd throw in my 0.02.

At first I didn't like the stock clutch feel, but now I'm enjoying it. Have yet to stall the GT350. altjx, care to explain the differences between Steeda spring vs no spring? I also think it's a little tough at first because its a brand new spring so until it gets worked in it's going to be a bit stiff.

I wish I could say the same, lol. The again, I'm extremely new at driving manual and not sure if you are as well. I'm not sure how this makes sense, but having the Steeda spring feels a little more smooth in a sense and guided compared to not having a spring at all. I could feel a little more of the engagement area without the spring though that's for sure though.

I only went with the spring because I read some other good reviews about it and had some concerns after reading about the potential consequences of not having a spring. Just heard at some point it may eventually stop returning back to its original point, etc. Probably very minor I'm sure, but I just rather have a spring for peace of mind.

I do a lot of detailing so this may be a bit overkill for some. I never touch my car with a cloth when drying.

I ditched the spring I'm not sure why it comes with one. Driven lots of manual cars. Clutch is better still a little odd not sure if the car has a light weight fly wheel

I have been looking into this ionized water thing but I dont know if it will work, some concerns:

* Apparently it needs 2 GPM or less to be efficient in terms of the resin
* My house has a very high GPM (around 8 GPM), so I need to get one of those GPM meters and then adjust the water pressure
* The pressure washer I have is certified for 2.8 GPM. So that means it needs minimum that much GPM. I dont know how that would ever work with this thing. I dont think there is a pressure washer that will work with 2.0 GPM to be honest.

It's also quite expensive ($200 for the unit plus $40 for resin which will probably last only 2-3 months), so not sure if I'm sold yet.

My main point about the DI water was if you plan to dry the car 100% with air/no towels. That is what I do. Well, 99%. I do wipe the odd drip. My car is black so I purposely went the overkill route including Modesta coating.

Love my Master Blaster...they have one that comes with a super long hose. Best Christmas present ever from my wife. Makes drying the wheels, all nooks crannies, etc. you don't realize how much water hides in the cracks.

There is no filter on a leaf blower. Anything that gets sucked in by the leaf blower will be hurled at your paint at 100+ MPH. A leaf blower also simply pushes the water. It does not dry your car. The Master Blaster may not be for everyone but it is a much better tool to dry your car than a leaf blower.
