Only thing that would have budged me off of my GT350 would be if the new GT500 was AWD FPC 5.2L Twin Turbo. However, still excited for the announcement and can't wait to see whats in store, most likely upgrade parts for me. :)
Looks like a 2016 Deep Impact.
I got a ton of looks, thumbs up etc when I still had the racing stripes. Once I took those off and blacked out my front and rear emblems, almost all the attention went away. Now only people who know what to look for are recognizing it, otherwise to everyone else...
The line that is used as the "relief support" is a solid steel line, so there will be no flexing or movement of any kind. Just checked it now and its still exactly how it is in the picture I posted above.
Just a theory, but maybe since the spring allows for a more linear clutch release, maybe unwillingly you are shredding material as you ease out of it. I still have the stock OEM spring and once it reaches the midway point, the pedal snaps back the rest of the way basically eliminating this...
All I gotta say is, if you are already on the fence about it and you go to test drive it, consider it a done deal. Not sure there are that many (car) people who can listen to the violent way the Voodoo engine rips through the atmosphere and say to themselves "nah I'm good".
Your clutch is slipping when you go to accelerate and the revs climb up but your wheels aren't putting the full power to the ground. Easy to tell with this car and its loud exhaust cause you'll hear it climb the revs but not the same forward thrust.
Best way to tell if you are doing something wrong would be to set up some cameras inside your car on a typical driving route. Maybe one camera pointing at your footwork and the other at the gauge cluster. Just an idea.
