Ruger SR9c IWB, a Springfied XDc .45 with the full size mag in center console, Taurus model 66 .357 6"barrel in the owners manual spot and an AR15 in a pelican case in the truck with a "couple" 30rd mags. Then, when I go to the range, I really load up.
Nothing in the door pockets, main glove box or roof mounted? Talk about unprepared. Lol

Not exactly concealed but with the seat back reclined slightly it can't be seen through my tinted windows....especially being black on black seats. I can grab the pistol grip with my right hand and simultaneously unfold with my left hand. This would only be a high capacity back up and not my main carry, that stays on my person no matter what.
Very nice!! And you have the gen 2. That's nice to throw a light on (I'm partial to the TLR's). I've come so close so many times to picking one up. However, after handling a gen 1 it just felt too flimsy and not solid at all. I still have to check out a gen 2.

I've got tons of 17rd, 31rd, and 33rd mags so that's an incentive.

Thanks for sharing.

It's actually a gen 1. I put the rubber slip on grip cover on as well as the factory quad rail. I got it brand new about 7 years ago at my local GS for $299!!! Ive striped the light and forward vert grip i had on it to use on my AR. Ive learned they,re so light and compact it's almost a crime to weigh them down with accessories. I'm somewhere between 1500 - 2k rnds with no issues to speak of. Just a fun gun and good bug out bag item.

Just trying to travel light and keep things concealed. If I have to go to the trunk, it's become a bad day.

I suppose this will be off topic, so I apologize, but I figure it's better than starting a new thread. I am new to guns, and have only been shooting a couple times so far. I have a lot to learn, and if anyone can recommend some good resources online to do so, I would appreciate it (forums, safety and advice websites, info on calibers, advice on safes, etc.). My favorite gun that I've shot so far was an AR-15 style rifle, and I've been thinking about picking one up just to take to the range and practice, but I have small kids and I'm VERY paranoid about having guns in the house... I also don't want people to think I'm "tacticool" when I shoot it at the range!

Sorry for the off topic post, and thanks for any help!

My first recommendation, go to your local range and ask if they offer classes for those new to firearms. They will teach you more than any reply on here and you'll learn the safe ways of operating weapons. As far as AR-15s...there are so many offerings out there you could spend years researching every brand. Two popular models are Smith and Wesson and Colt. You can find one for $500-700 depending on modifications. Also, many ranges will hold demo days where the manufacturer brings out a trailer full of guns to shoot for free and will offer discounts if you buy that day.

Join the NRA. They have tons of resources and information on who in your area conducts NRA classes.

H&K P30sk or P30 both are LEM's. My GT has NRA plates through the state of Ohio.

No. I leave my rifles and shotguns at home, locked in a safe, tucked out of sight where they belong.

Do what I do. Get a small Harbor Freight trailer and pull your safe behind you.

You ain't kidding about Canada laws. I just got back from Victoria, BC and just trying to get in I was getting grilled about maybe having a gun in the car. Because I answered the question to fast, I was suspect. I had researched everything I was going to need to cross the border and was prepared, including my registration for my car, insurance, medical insurance and passports. I also read the laws regarding bringing firearms and as much as I hate travelling without them, I was not going to be able to bring any. I still felt like a criminal as they questioned me.
