I'm liking my Nitto 555g2 launch control test with it went well. Have some wider tires now but impressed with how these feel

Did my first oil change, put in Rotella T6. Also bought my winter tires. Brand new Blizzak WS-80s that my mechanic buddy sold me at cost. These things are so expensive, but at almost 50% off, it's hard to argue.

What are these winter tires you speak of? ;)

What size you running? I'm trying to decide between these and the MPSS sized 285/35 F and 305/35 R in 19". They look nice, just not a lot of info out there yet. How are they from a NVH standpoint? So the Hook up pretty good? What were you launching at with launch control?

285/35 in rear and 275/40 front on 19s

Tires are quiet so pretty happy with that. Hook up was good, just did launch from stop light and laid some rubber down. Car drifted a bit in the back but felt contact, nothing out of control. Wife wasnt happy but that makes me laugh

MPSS is amazing tire but much more expensive, but cant go wrong with that

Nice Spacers. Looks a lot better.

Last thing I did was a pair of tow hooks from ZL1Addons.com. Next up: track grade brake pads.

IIRC, the Rotella T6 is SM grade, not the required SN? Personally, I would stick with the grade spec'd out by Ford.
" Introduced in October 2010 for 2011 and older vehicles, designed to provide improved high temperature deposit protection for pistons, more stringent sludge control, and seal compatibility. API SN with Resource
Conserving matches ILSAC GF-5 by combining API SN performance with improved fuel economy, turbocharger protection, emission control system compatibility, and protection of engines operating on ethanol-containing
fuels up to E85."

What do you think of the quality? Do they seem substantial enough to actually function as a good tow point if you are being pulled out of sand or gravel? Did you order the small shaft or the large? If the larger, how did modifying the grill go? Thanks.

So the Brotella club just isn't in the Subaru community... interesting. People act like it's the tears of unicorns.

Wanted to avoid a new thread. Thinking of sending my Mustang for her first oil change tonight. I just hit 1000 miles.. is it too early?
