lund tune w/o mods worth it?

Now if i can only find a tuner to do a Lund tune in the Tampa FL area.

I'm going to have Racing Integration [MENTION=20000]Rintegration[/MENTION] in Tampa do some work for me. They will be installing a Procharger, McLeod RXT/billet flywheel, OPG, crank gear, BMR cradle lockouts, Steeda triax and a remote tune from Lund with an nGauge. I have heard great things about them and I can let you know how it goes.

I'm seriously considering a tune but I'm one of the guys that's nervous about losing my full warranty. I'm sure nothing internally will go wrong in the engine, it's the other things that make me nervous. For example, if my fuel pump has issues or alternator or steering system components or something unrelated to a tune would malfunction and Ford tells me that my warranty is void, I'll be pissed. I had Honda tell me my warranty was void on my 6spd trans because my car was on coilovers and Honda themselves never changed the MTF even though I had proof that I purchased fluid from Honda with a receipt. That's the only thing stopping me lol. I really wish I wouldn't have to worry about stuff like that but that one bad experience was enough.

What do you mean by "a local tuner doing a Lund tune"?

without a doubt, would be the best mod you've ever done

you would only need a local tuner if your wanting to do a remote session on a dyno, but everything can really be done on the street

Yeah I guess taking my car back where I bought it is out the question lol. They only had 2 GTs on the lot one of which was a manual and no one there seemed like they knew much about the car at all. You recommend searching for Roush dealers? They may be more mod friendly. Or does anyone know any dealers near Philadelphia/Suburbs of Philly?

Another tuner can't do a "Lund tune". Lund Racing's tunes are made by them and them only. If you have another tuner build you a tune than it's their tune.

To make things easier all you need to do it give us a call and order a Lund Racing tune along with the device if you don't have one already and we'll handle the rest.

It's that simple.

Tune does wake the car up. I dont worry about the warranty, one of the reasons i got the mustang was because of the coyote. I knew I could do every NA/Bolt on mod and not think twice about the engine having a problem with it.

I used to have a 2015 WRX STI, now that is an engine you can really worry about losing your warranty with.

so true, i had a 12 wrx and its like you had to put at least the stage 1 on the car due to the terrible factory tune, i went full bolt ons and ewg and after a track day my silver in my oil sample spiked, so i knew the bearings were going...parted it out, got my 'yote and never looked back. im sure it blew up to the poor sap who bought it :lol:

Just loaded my auto Lund 93 tune. Just do it! Wakes up the car. Faster, crisper shifts. Can chirp, spin the tires easily in 1st, & 2nd. You have to relearn the way the car responds. Best bang for the buck mod in my opinion. Now time to go to the 1/4 mile track & see what it does. Ran 12.71 bone stock.

Mine doesn't care as long as it's Roush or FRPP mods. I'm not sure if they'd give me crap over other brands/tuners.
