I have the EXACT same setup as you and it woke the car up big time.... You wont regret it.I have only Solo Performance street exhaust and would not mind a CAI but I don't have to have one, would a Nguage with Lund tune be worth the purchase? Automatic with 3.15's is what it would be going on if that makes a difference.
I have tuned my cars in the past and have always regretted it to be honest. The difference could be felt and was a good 3-4 10th's quicker in the 1/4; however, the difference wasn't night and day and not worth the warranty risk imo. If I were to tune it, it would be for if I went F/I. The Lund E85 tune with a converter sounds enticing and would perform well, no doubt, but there isn't any E85 in my area. Another thing to consider is fuel quality as it varies. If it is poor the car will pull timing and not make much more additional power from the tune.:shrug:I have only Solo Performance street exhaust and would not mind a CAI but I don't have to have one, would a Nguage with Lund tune be worth the purchase? Seems like the most I see for a tune only GT is less than 5% more HP? Doesn't seem like a lot considering it sacrifices you warranty.... Ford always leaves a lot of HP on the table...
That's a false statement in most cases.Seems like the most I see for a tune only GT is less than 5% more HP? Doesn't seem like a lot considering it sacrifices you warranty.
Normal gains are 20-25 whp with a tune alone which is right at 5%. E-85 tune would be about 10 whp more so about 8%.That's a false statement in most cases.
