Because Shelby USED TO BE about performance. This is what Shelby is about now --Why so many people hating on Shelby? They pour tons of resources into the Mustang which can only benefit us on how certain add on look and perform.
Yeah, but it's Shelby American. Would not buy.To be honest it's not a bad spec car. Bunch of Ford Performance handling and sounds like the PP2 installed. Little beefier performance pack GT.
Got the carbon fiber hood of the Shelby GT to lighten it up a bit. Those are $2k alone without paint.
I would be a good deal at $12-13k, with the supercharger at $20k to match Roush. Its way too pricey at $18k for mostly cosmetic.
It's basically a GT-H you can buy and not rent.
Done after 2017.Once again, my V6 gets overlooked.. which only confirms to me that the Cyclone is not long for this world in a Mustang. Sad day.. but i'll be keeping mine a very long time as I LOVE IT!
Cyclone? All this time I've been calling the v6 "coyotillo" :lol:Once again, my V6 gets overlooked.. which only confirms to me that the Cyclone is not long for this world in a Mustang. Sad day.. but i'll be keeping mine a very long time as I LOVE IT!
When Carroll passed...that is when it became more about money rather than the passion of the car.I think most of the people were _very_ enthusiastic about Shelby (hard not be being Mustang fan). Just everything that has been released off S550 was - to say it straight - a disappointment. Cosmetically it was at least highly questionable at the price point where it made no sense, Ecoboost GT was purely ridiculous, Super Snake was a departure from what happened in the past that has been seen as just going after the money.
My absolutely personal opinion was that Shelby American had a lot of love within Mustang community that isn't there anymore after all recent releases. None of them lives up to Shelby's name.
