When to expect order placed Jan 2016?

Is there a relationship between colour and speed of order process? I ordered Magnetic and it is pretty much sticking to the one year estimate by my dealer, ordered in February and scheduled build date of October for January delivery. The more popular the colour the longer they seem to take. I don't mind I'm reasonably patient.

I asked Ford AU through Facebook and they informed that my car is to be build by September. I messaged Deysha asking for an exact build date. Will update you guys once I got a reply from Deysha.

Hope all is well. I checked on your order and it just received the VIN 2 weeks ago. It only has a tentative build week of 9/26/16, which is subject to change. Check back in a week or so for any available. Have a good one!

Good luck in getting it mid November. I ordered in Feb 2016 also and don't have the VIN yet. The earliest I might get it is late December or January (If I am lucky). What I am saying is "don't get your hopes up but good luck anyway".

I ordered in mid Feb 2016 too. Have the NSC but not the VIN yet. We are currently guessing a late Dec or Jan 2017 delivery. Like you I am patient too as when I first ordered I was told about June 2017 so anything earlier than that is great. Provided it arrives in beautiful condition I don't really care when it gets here. Have waited for cars in the past - the time goes very quickly.

Correction: it's the *week of* the 12th. So it could be built anywhere from the 12th-17th. Order was placed January 7th.

Try this link, but replace the number at the end with your VIN: http://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=1FA6P8CF7H5200000

It will probably say "please check back later" until a week or so before the build date. Once the window sticker shows up, the date at the top (above "blend") is the scheduled build date (in format 1yyyymmdd).

I ordered mid May this year at Westpoint Ford in Melbourne, I have contacted them and have been assured they will advised when they get the NSC, however they tell me around Nov/Dec before they will get that.

Anyone ordered from them and how has it gone and with a mid May order when may I expect an NSC. It's nearly 4 months in now and would expect it in next few weeks.

I have ordered a Ingot silver GT auto.

Could depend how quick your dealer put the order into their system. Some don't receive their NSC until 6 months after placing the order, could even be 7 :shrug:
