When to expect order placed Jan 2016?

Well, I got a ring from my dealer the other day, with some "good news". I thought he might finally have a build date for me, but no such luck. The "good news" was simply that my car was going to be a MY17, with the updated SYNC3. I told him that I was already aware of this, because they started making the MY17s back in June. Seeing as I placed my order in January, it was just stating the obvious really. He told me that he had to update the order to reflect that my car was now a MY17? So I gave him confirmation that I still intended to go through with things, and that was that. Almost 8 months now and no real news... in order for me to get my car by the end of the year it will have to be built within the next 5 weeks or so. I'm starting to think that's not going to happen...

VIN's generally are available 3 to 4 weeks prior to build.

There are a lot of people that haven't been listening?? If you ordered in 2016, you shouldn't expect to see your car until 2017. Some might be lucky with cancelled orders and get a chance to jump the que.

Hopefully that's not far off for you - I got mine 6 months after ordering.

Mister Z. I ordered mine on the 18th February and was told then that it would be a MY17. Got the NSC on the 7th July and am expecting the VIN anyday now.

Ordered April 7th? (i think) Got my NSC on the 6th of July.

Being from Newcastle, i take it you are getting it via Klosters?

Make that 3 :cheers: I buy all my Fords there as well as they are great to deal with! Ordered in April, got my nsc in early July, don't expect it until middle of next year, although a surprise would be nice
