Oh I know. The hamster wheel will just keep spinning. The Camaro is faster stock. The Camaro Costs More. The Camaro is ugly. The Mustang takes to mods better. The Camro is hard to see out of........ If I forgot any let me know or fill them in for me in your next post. The only thread more repetitive then this nonsense is the Sales thread over on Camaro6!
:doh:This web site name is Mustang6g not camaro6g
Posts like this come off to me as very disingenuous. The Mustang and Camaro performance are so close already they are almost identical. You continue to pretend you don't favor the Camaro but then everything you post is very biased against Ford.I want the personality, looks and heritage of the Mustang with the performance of the Camaro.
You're just that fragile then?
This is a consumer product. Proclaiming loyalty doesn't help push the product to be better and it makes your posts really out of place in a comparison forum.
Why exactly would anyone care about your paranoid suspicions?Posts like this come off to me as very disingenuous. The Mustang and Camaro performance are so close already they are almost identical. It's ok to be a Camaro guy. Just be a Camaro guy. Don't worry.
What do compare that performance wise there near identical? Drag, track, braking, lateral g, figure 8?:shrug:Posts like this come off to me as very disingenuous. Man talking about paranoid or is it guiltWhy exactly would anyone care about your paranoid suspicions?
You guys are bordering on hilarious.
Linking one's personal identity to a corporate brand makes one look like a total goober.
Attempting to out someone as a loyalist to a competing "clan" takes that to a new level.
Sure, all of those. What do compare that performance wise there near identical? Drag, track, braking, lateral g, figure 8?
Anything to back that up?:cheers:Sure, all of those.
Where is everyone seeing these $10,000 difference? Seems like a lot of made up stuff. My boss went out and got a brand new 1SS about two weeks ago, after I bought my GT.
He got the auto. I drove it around the office complex and had a couple of hard pulls on the local highway.
The camaro is DAMN freaking fast. The auto does a great job of putting all that power to the ground.
I quite like the interior, its a lot nicer than the previous gen.
Do I like it more than the mustang? No.
It makes more power, but is a hell of a lot bigger. A human (adult or child) wont fit in the back seats. Its still a nice looking car.
Stock for stock, its more car, but not 10K more car.
I dont care about brand loyalty, and have owned only GM products prior to the S550. I buy what makes the most sense.
You cant beat the value for power for fun formula that Ford achieved with the mustang.
Now to get that PD blower installed to eat the camaro alive.
I know I'm a few days late to the party, but by $38k GT/PP were you referring to the $31k GT/Performance PAck? That would be comparable car to the base SS, which is about a super charger's worth price difference. Now the Camaro costs a bit more but drives and goes much better. A base $37k 1SS will mop the floor with a $38k GT/PP.
Just look at the mag numbers. They are close.Anything to back that up?
