As I stated before the coyote is a short stroke, high reving engine. It is not nor ever will be a torque monster. You can do anything you want short of FI but the improvements in low rpm torque will be small.
Now if you really want torque try driving a 70' Buick GS with a 455 and a set of 4.10s. :headbang:

Just thought I would point out we have very similar numbers. We are both in the same area (Md) with similar set ups. You have long tubes (worth about 10-15whp over cat deletes) and the 350tb (not sure if its really worth anything), and I have e85 (worth about 10-15whp). I have a LUND FF TUNE. I have been thinking about giving a dyno tune from REV Auto a try but just not sure if its going to be worth the money and time. I still need to dyno with my revised tune with more timing down low. If my numbers don't improve, I think I will give them a call and see how much an e85 dyno tune will run for comparison.
Not bad! Well I support them because they opened my eyes to how different a car could become from power and drivability just with a dif tune.

The weight of the S-550 is a huge factor. My base 13 GT was about 500lbs lighter than my premium 16 GT. Stock the 13 felt noticeably quicker even at low rpms and part throttle. Put the new coyote in a 2800lb car like and old fox body and tell me it lacks low end.

While weight is certainly a factor. Unless a convertible maybe, 500lbs has got to be an exaggeration.
My 16 auto gt is about 100lbs heavier than my base auto 14 gt and 150 heavier than my 12 manual. My 14 and especially 12 felt more lacking down low to me than my 16...

500lbs is high.

This was taken from corral.net.

My 2013 base 300a m6 GT weighs in at 3510lbs with 1/2 tank of gas completely stock. The car is a no options car. Cloth, base brakes, 18' stock wheels, full stock exhaust. Only weight reduction is I removed the spare tire and jack(47lbs total). This scale is the bandimere national speedway scale on the day of a national race so it is within 5lbs.

I don't have the same surge in torque like my old tuned/straight-piped turbo GTI but with the PP I can still feel a pretty noticeable amount of torque from 6th gear highway cruising to pass someone.

For those of you who feel it lacks torque: what is your gear ratio?

Also LOL to the Accord comment. I feel the same way. These things have a monstrous amount of power.

My 13 base with no options was 3492lbs without me in it (roughly 3450 without fuel) my 2016 premium with basically all options was 3964lbs without me in it. Both had about half tank gas (maybe a little less) when weighed (same scale at the local metal recycler so might not be 100% accurate but at least the same scale) Much of that differential is the power leather seats, shaker audio (heard this adds almost 100lbs by itself but I'm not 100%), backup sensors, adaptive cruise, 20" wheels, and other luxury options my 16 has vs the 13. Couple that with the roughly 150-200lbs more the base S-550 weighs vs a base SN-197 you have your 500lbs.

I kinda wish I had except the cooled seats are nice in Florida and the cloth in the base isn't very soft material like I like my cloth seats to be. My 2002 Dakota had nice soft gray cloth seats which Didn't get so damn hot vs my black leather I have now.

If your car weighs 3964 it must be a convertible.

Low end torque tends to come from longer stroke/smaller bore engines. The coyote is a short stroke/large bore engine. We used to call these "overbore" versus "underbore" engines. As a young man I used to race big block dodge wedge motors. Very torquey, longer stroke smaller bore engines like the 440 and 426 wedge. In the early 90's I moved over to small block Fords. A very different beast. I had to build for HP at higher rpm and gear for torque.
IIRC the GM engines have a longer stroke than the coyote and will be their nature deliver more down low torque
Exactly....

Cams make a huge difference in where the torque curve lies. Short duration, no overlap cams that build cylinder pressure tend to produce the most torque down low, but run out of breath up high.

Is your premium and you have the mode on normal?
In normal mode the throttle response is progressive.
I can floor my automatic in normal mode it won't spin the pathetic 255 all season tires until about 4000rpm but if I put it in sport mode, it would light the tires up right away.
The normal mode ramp up the throttle even when you go WOT to save tires.
