Sounded like tire spin or slipping clutch also. What are his mods? Also does that window stick on the rear glass quote doc holiday from the movie tombstone "I'm your huckleberry" lmao.

Lol, yes, the quote is from tombstone.

It was 72 degrees and overcast all day in south Georgia in June. Very strange.
Everyone struggled with traction.
Lund tune, I think stainless power headers, and then 3-inch sound makers with an H pipe no cats no resonators no mufflers.
And I think he has an air raid intake but that's it.

This is almost funny. :cheers:We pretty much have all the same mods minus a few differences in brands. I'm also thinking of changing my BMR rear lower control arm bearings to Cortex. Cortex makes front and rear control arm bearings. Still waiting for BMR to make the fronts and camber links. Vorshlag should have the camber plates soon. I called them Friday.
So i decided to pull the trigger on the Cortex control arm bearings. They shipped today. I'll report back after i get them installed.

I guess now I'm going to be ebaying the BMR front chassis brace and the BMR bearings. :frusty:

I installed the steeda 2 point gtrac brace. I can happily say that it fits perfectly with headers. :headbang:

Also bought a camber gauge from maximum motorsports. I almost pulled the trigger on their camber plates, but opted to sit tight on the vorschlag bits instead.

Good news is, I should actually have the entire weekend this weekend to work on my transmission cooler and differential cooler, get the control arm bearings in and maybe the bushings installed.

I need to align the car as it sits, so before i take it over to the shop to have it aligned, i'm going to just finish out all the suspension stuff.

I'll only have a few last pieces to procure, then i'll be all finished.

Last bits to procure:

1. FP RSD
2. Camber plates ( yes, i know i'll need to align the front again.)
3. MGW shifter
4. Wheels (after i finally decide what to go with) and tires.

Lol funny you say that about cortex. I also ordered mine today!
I talked to vorshlag and any day now. Can't wait.
The RSD Is a breeze to install. I pulled the trigger on that in December and installed it back then. You'll like it. I'm on the 50 production list for the MGW. If you get Forgeline GA1R open lugs you must be my lost twin at birth.

I highly recommend CorteX. My '66 Fastback is a CorteX Extreme Grip car. I had all of their stuff (shy of the front spindles) put on it a few years back and I've had nothing but a great experience with it. Filip is a great guy, super smart and easy to work with.

What parts did you use for your cooler install?

that's actually one of the reasons that I'm poking around looking for other wheels. :) I don't want to be twins to that degree  . I shot a note to vossen. Waiting to hear back on how much r spec-ish wheels will weigh.

I sent some emails to MGW about the shifter, i believe that I'm on their list for one.

The RSD, I'll get to. the install looks to be pretty simple. I just want to get the mechanical bits sorted first.

What parts did you use for your cooler install?
All oem parts except the trans to cooler lines, pump for the trans (obviously), and wiring.

Had my first gas station encounter, I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner. When I had a GT-R people would come talk to me everytime I stopped with it lol. An interested guy asked my permission to hang around until I started the car up, cause he's never heard a flat plane crank V8 before. Ended up talking with him for 10~ min about the car lol.

I'm just glad he wasn't like "wanna trade?", can't wait for one of those
