What did you pay over msrp for your GT350/R?

It amazes me that every R I followed sold for well over 90k and many for over 100k yet it seems most of the forum members seemed to get theirs at/near MSRP.... Reminds me of med school where every single classmate said they had 95 or higher yet the test average was somehow 85..... hmmmmmmmm ;)

The guys that pay these large ADMs are usually on golf courses and such, rather than internet forums. So, expect less large adm votes. I cant vote 2 times either

I got my car for $1 UNDER msrp in November 2016. It was a favor from a manager/friend at the dealership. I wanted the deal for bragging rights.

I chose MSRP for the poll. In reality it's actually $1.5k over because I'll have to have it shipped to me :/

As a side note, just like others have mentioned; the poll shows most people got theirs for MSRP. I have a hard time believing this because +99% of dealerships I called were asking an ADM. I guess the people that paid ADM's weren't reading this forum anymore or weren't wiling to vote.

That's actually a great deal for the Bay Area. I have an order for the GT350 non-R for 5K over only because I know the GM.

We can"t rule out sampling distortion due to selection biasedness... but at least there's progress from what I can see due to > than half (i.e. 35/63 or ~56% so far) paid an ADM period.

I went in on the last day of the month. the negotiation came down to " you pay msrp and pay for vin etching on the windows. it costs $325".

I did the deal.

paying an additional 7K for the AG car that i would have preferred was not something that i was willing to do. loving the black stripe delete. flys under the radar until i put my foot in it.

I think that is something that needs to be taken into account, that just because a dealership is asking a high ADM, it does not mean the cars are not being sold for considerably less. I also think a lot of people who paid over MSRP are unwilling to admit it for fear of being labeled " stupid" or "an idiot".

I payed 5k over, and although I do have some regret knowing I could of negotiated a little better, overall I'm happy. The dealer gave me more than anyone else was offering for my trade in (46k for a 2012 E63 amg with 40k miles) so I saved money on taxes, I got a great interest rate, I got them to throw free oil changes for 2 years, and I got a $2800 refund on the extended warranty I purchased for the mercedes. With those things considered I ended up coming out better than I thought. Not to mention I got an amazing car in the process!!
