I had the same alignment problem with the struts - super easy fix though, just loosen the bottom hood nut as well, line it up and tighten.

That dark is not legal here either. Plus I don't have a front license plate and I'm getting ready to put tint on the tail lights. Around here, cops generally won't bother unless given another reason.
Knock on wood :headbonk:I've never been pulled over/ticketed for any of the offenses.
Do you have to have a front plate?? If so, consider the Sto n Show, they're great and much better than the middle of the grille!!!!

Took it to the dealer and got my first (free) oil change at 4,000 miles.

Ran it into the menu at Sonic. I was pulling in and started sneezing hard. I slammed on the brake but it was too late. I wasn't quite straight and hit the pole. The headlamp can be buffed. The bumper can be fixed, but the fender is aluminum. I am a bodyman. I don't think I can fix the fender. I can't stud pull it. So I guess we will be blending the door too.

Wish I was a body man too...that will be fixed in no time...hmm Roush or Anderson composites front bumper sound like a cool mod now.
Way to think positively:thumbsup:

"I sneezed my car into the Sonic menu" .....I wonder if Farmer's has seen that one.

Sorry for your misfortune. That does suck but picturing it happening from this POV is pretty comical. Here's to a speedy recovery.

What I did to fix it was enlarge the hole on the bracket with the step drill bit they included. Then put a little paint on it to protect it from corrosion, and fit like a champ.

Realigning the hood would've messed up my stripes, and to my eye, my hood looks aligned just fine.

UPR clean side vent hose. Looks a little nicer than that stock foam covered line. Only thing I noticed that the side that connects to the intake doesn't really "click" on like the factory style fitting that it comes with would suggest, valve cover side "clicks" on perfectly though. Could just be something with the JLT's. Its not going anywhere it goes all the way on and the line is rigid enough that its held in place.

Got my windows tinted yesterday with ASWF performer 35%

Today put in my first mod after speakers and that's hood struts to get rid of the prop stick, tomorrow will be a ford racing strut tower brace kit.

Took me 1 hour to install the hood struts and then 1 1/2 hours to re-align the hood.:lol:
