If I know the light I’m at and I know it’ll be a while I’ll put it in neutral but if I’m not sure how long I’m gonna be there I’ll leave it in gear.

I have developed a slow leak a couple of years after my evaporator was replaced under warranty. I just do an evac and recharge every 15 months or so. I’m not paying that much out of pocket to have it replaced again. When I build my shop I may attempt to replace it myself.

Yeah. The slider can go in the gear housing either way and I guess when the guys at the complete firestone auto care replaced my cabin air filter they were a little too enthusiastic and pulled everything apart and put it together backwards

So I took it apart and put it back together backwards from the way it was and it works fine. Thanks.

Never mind that’s the damn hole for the latch. The slider is moving in the groove and it is attached to the side. I disconnected the slider from the box and it has resistance when I push it in but no resistance when I pull it down. Like it works but backwards

The part that slides is there but there is a square hole in the side that looks like it is missing something

I swear it’s supposed to but I opened it this morning and it just dropped open.
