This is a good point. Could account for some of the noise. I had the squeak too - that was really over the top and was related to the compression setting (more = louder). Wonder how Koni / Bilstein will attach their shocks. Sure hope they do their homework.I'm not surprised that going from soft PP shocks to considerably stiffer aftermarket shocks complete with a much stiffer urethane bushing in the lower mount that there's more noise with the Vikings

I'd agree if I wasn't under the impression this is a generic shock. I.e. meant for multiple vehicles with matching particulars of this shock. Not one word in the instructions mentions ford/mustang, everything is "vehicle", perhaps the instructions are generic and shocks are specific but i doubt it.
