I had recently posted a thread about getting a whipple for my 2016 gt m6
3.73. I was set on the whipple until i got offered a good deal on a vortech and paxton. I believe paxton and vortech are similar. But what would be my best choice between them or a whipple. My car is a daily and will not be seeing any track time soon. Should i stick to whipple or paxton/vortech? Which is more street friendly? Reliable, fun etc. I appreciate any help.

Depends on how much you are willing to spend. Whipple's tuning is amazing and gives you the ability to turn the power down if you want too. On pump and out of the box, whipple will make more power.

All good systems. Do a search bother... this exact topic has been covered about 500 times. I went with Whipple, but the Paxton is great and the Vortech is great. All are good daily drivers as well. It's all personal choice. Lethal Performance has a 10% off sale on Whipple kits, and Beefcake has some awesome deals on the Paxton.

Any blower with almost instant boost is going to be a serious tire fryer. With 3.73s, it is going to grenade those tires. The centrifugals are building boost with rpm, a little easier to manage. Do you want the tire frying, sideways torque or something easier to manage is what I like to compare with these two setups.

Totally different superchargers.. All depends on what you like and want for power delivery. Cant go wrong with any off them. They are all solid!

That's one area that I really like the Whipple. The tuning ability to lower boost in lower gears. Saving the tires a bit. Your right foot is the most important part in "managing" the power lol

my main goal is to have a fun daily. I work at night so the highway is usually always empty. I want to be able to do some nice pulls. track is not on my plans until next year. which would give me the most power on higher rpms? and higher speeds

Whipple with their 132mm TB, 72lb injectors and their tune. Then, if it is raining and you want less power, just take advantage of flight control.

I have a Whipple with 750rwhp and 3.73 gearing with toyo proxes 4+ all season tires (so not the stickiest at all) and I can spin the tires if I want to or I can roll into the throttle and hook up pretty good. This is my daily driver and is extremely fun! You cant go wrong with Whipple especially with their new features i lowered the power in first and second gear to around 550-600, 650-700 in third gear and full power in 4th through 6th.

any s/c is fun on these cars.

vortech and paxton are the same kit, but you get a larger head unit for the same $$.

paxton can make around 900rwhp out of the box, with just a pulley change.

for the $$ it's hard to beat. 900hp intercooler as well. and the air to air is a great setup.

we can have you a full package setup with id1000s and everything you need including custom tune for under $6k, hard to beat it
