550-600 is fine for me. I know even the P1SC can make that. But this will be more of a purpose build. I'm looking for the most top end within the limits of the stock block with headers. I know the Whipple 2.9 is better than the 2300 TVS blowers on top end. But is it better than lets say a Novi 2200? Or, which of the centris are better? Like, in the post where you overlayed the 2 graphs with the Whipple and the Vortech...which Vortech was that?

I have a PSC1 with 600whp at 8.75psi with a 4.75 pulley last time I got it tuned. Yes the low end when on the highway you need to down shift to fly by someone but in second gear at any speed the car goes sideways. Now I'm in the process of a wastegate eboost2 setup with a 3.85 pulley witch should hit 19 to 20psi the wastegate set to 14si high boost and 10 psi low boost. So I'm thinking I should be somewhere around 700whp on 93. With e85 you can go 750whp no problem on psc1.

Tires and suspension fixes that.

Free bump for one of the best FI threads yet IMO. Myself and others have probably regretted picking a setup that's better for drag racing when we daily drive our car. Been there and done that with a cammed LS1. And Futral convinced me the higher lift version of the cam had no adverse side effects.... I might make a few HPDE events and even less drag race visits a year. Not sure how manageable FI is coming out of turns on a road course. I'm sure I'd love it daily driving though.

Stock 5.0, stock tune - you can spin around and face the guy behind you on a road course no problem. Add in another 200 hp... just get good at driving before you do that IMHO.

Absolutely, this thread is great!! And you mentioned exactly what I want to avoid...getting a setup more suited for drag racing on my DD car. Plus it seems that the PD blowers are harder on the engine, trans, tires, and axles. Of course this isn't to put them down so I hope nobody takes offense to that statement.
