2017 Mustang Colors (Updated: Lightning Blue, Platinum White, Grabber Blue PICS)

To be clear, is the new LB a metallic color, some posts seem to say yes, others kind of not sure ??

Some of the early literature from Ford made it look like Lightning Blue was not metallic, but I think it was a mis-print as later information indicated it was a metallic color.

Based on the pictures we know I implemented alle 3 new colors in the EU Mustang Builder. Maybe you can give it a try :cheers:

Yeah actually I agree enough to the point of where I'm going to question why get rid of DIB for this lightning bullshit. Granted I haven't seen LB in person, but it will have a lot of ground to make up for considering how amazing DIB was. I have a OW car, so in to see how the metallic white turns out.

The new colors are a sweet addition. Pictures do not do that new white justice. It will be marvelous...............

where have you seen this in person? i am interested to see what it looks like, but that rendering looks like oxford white to me.

I would have considered Guard had it been more green. Just too subtle IMO. Maybe Highland green? I'd like to see what that looks like on the S550, with black wheels/accents.

Someone posted a pic of the new color swatch brochure somewhere (can't find it now), but it is definitely metallic.

They're not official FoMoCo pictures.

I'm totally the opposite on this. We are actually finally getting a decent blue instead of something that looks purple at times. Bring on the lightning!
