Welp, rumor now the Z/28 is 5.5L with over 700 HP. Let's see if it is indeed true will GM price it out of the market like the 5th Gen Z/28 LMAO

Didn't the first year of Z/28's sell out?

I don't think their problem was pricing themselves out of the market. I think they over-saturated/estimated it. You could probably argue the former but that thing sold out fast that first year.

They should have kept it limited production much like the first year as it was a very niche specific vehicle. Most people would just bump it up to a Corvette at that point unless they were wanting a track dedicated Camaro that wasn't the most DD friendly of vehicles.

I know many here don't care for Motor Trend, but did you see the latest comparison. Quite the range in styles, engines and prices. What they were looking for was the car that they liked best to do a certain job and didn't exclude models due to engine type. Also, the most expensive one did not win. Saying the GT350R and ZL1 1LE are not the same cars to compare is a random decision by an individual, certainly not a reality in the market place.

Motor trend is a rag magazine that been generals motors pocket forever. If the gm car there testing won't beat the Ford they just change tires and run 93 octane in the gm car and run 87 octane in the Ford car.

There are very few new ones at dealers, Autotrader shows 11 nationwide, and they will most likely stay there as there prices are still high.

That being said I don't think an amount of cars left over is even a good point to argue about a car and if it's good or not.

I still didnt see a magazine ever comparing a 2014 gt500 to a 2014 z28. They compared a z28 to a boss 302. There is a reason for that. I don't care how much the prices match. The only people comparing the two different cars are camaro jerk offs because this is all they have to beat the gt350/r because their z28 is non existent.

People will compare track car to track car no matter what engine is in it. The gt350r is a track car, the ZL1 1LE is a track car. Voodooo. I like you and your opinions even if we don't agree on things for the most part, and I'm really not trying to be a dick with this. But I feel like you just recently partially argued the exact opposite point with a different arrangement. Although you did say you agree with me on the comparison part. I just don't think it's only the "Camaro jerkoffs" doing this comparison.
