Sometimes you have to just put it out there. Its good enough given the time/budget constraints of the project. You could nit pick every last detail of a car until its perfect and maybe it'll hit the markets around 2030, but no one will be happy with the new MSRP. Lookin at you Toyota Supra...That may be the case for you but compared to what is available in the modern car market it leaves a bit to be desired.
I know I'm too picky. I'd like to be happy accepting things as is but I'm always tortured by seeing how design could be better.
I've had freinds that were automotive engineers. They have to compete with all the systems within the vehicle, deal with outdated technology in the supply chain, etc. It's not an easy job.
