I just installed a Roush H-pipe on mine. Here's how I aligned the tips before tighten the clamps.
A homer bucket works well when backed onto 8" ramps. The muffler dropped ~1/4" once the bucket and shims were removed. Torque spec for the Roush clamp is 30 Nm.

Mufflers are definitely sagging. Use double walled clamps or tack welds.
My mbrp street has an unfortunate minor defect with the right muffler, the right side exit pipe isn't aligned with the left side. It's minor though. I've learned to live with it, although it's as simple as going to an exhaust shop to have corrected.

Absolutely my biggest pet peeve with these cars. I ended up getting them into place, then tack welding the joints so they could not move at all.
Although now I run a fully welded exhaust from the header back. of course it only weighs 23lbs and isn't a pain in the ass to remove all at once lol.

Just a note for the UK guys who are looking for better clamps 
I struggled to find the Norma / Torca clamps over here, but after a little digging :

They only had one in stock, but they offered an alternative from 'Boost Products' :

Turns out TurboZentrum was very close to my third office so I took a trip in to compare the products.
When we viewed the two products side by side we both agreed, one had defo copied the other. The design of the stainless clamp (even down to the keyways on the internal sleeve) was absolutely identical, maybe even from the same tooling. The only difference between them was the name stamps on the outside of the camp and the make of the bolts and hardware (although the design is the same with oval headed splined 10.9 bolts).
Some photos compared to the Steeda clamps :
The Norma clamp was in 'Vibrant' packaging - I think that's the same make as the little muffles that get mentioned on here quite a lot ?
Note I am in no way linked with this company, just offering up what I found and giving the UK guys a potential option - BUT, when I turned up to check out the stock, there was a 17 mustang outside who belonged to the guy that served me. Nice chap, we had a good chat and he gave me a little discount on the sale, so that's a big thumbs up from me

Your problem is not only the clamps themselves, but that there is bare metal slipping on bare metal.
Make it easy for yourself, have the system reasonably aligned with existing clamps and then have few tacking points set.
What may also help is to apply Holts Fire Gum to the connectors, this gets very hard and could prevent twisting as well.

'Merican!! I could see that not translating correctly.
The Roush H-pipe installation instructions say to torque the OEM sleeve clamps and Roush provided band clamps all to 30 Nm (22 ft-lbs).
