Sounds like what the democrats are investigating saying Trump did Biden did it first and there blaming Trump for it.

And maybe it's possible that Joe didn't actually know what Hunter was doing ... like Trump when claimed that he knew of nothing that Trump Jr was doing with meeting with Russians in Trump tower for. So if Biden didn't know this was going on, then his "quid pro quo" in that case would have only been in the national interest and viable, not a personal political or family interest. It's the "personal gain" aspect that makes it politically bad or not.

Guess they should abolish about every law that our government officials need to follow, and all the process to make sure this government stay intact as the Constitution was written to do. I don't even have cable TV ... so I don't even have access to all the cable political spin channels. Going back and forth in this thread is more politics than I discuss in years I'd bet.

I'm not denying the facts. What do you exactly think the facts are? Are your facts better than the people that have testified in the hearings? - and if so, where did you get your facts? - Russian internet troll articles? And what makes you think the cable news channels you watch or on-line new articles you read are any more accurate than others? ... because they say what you believe and want to hear?

What makes your facts better than the facts like Hill and Holmes testified to, and who were actually there in person while this stuff was going on around them, and saw and heard things with their own eyes and ears. Last time I checked that makes them qualify as a direct witness - not hearsay. And exactly what is your definition of "facts" in your mind. It could be argued by anyone that nothing is really "fact" to everyone because everyone's perception of reality is different ... as we can see in this thread.

So do you think a "liberal" would:

1) Be strongly for the 2nd Amendment. And of course, criminals and anyone else not fit to own a gun shouldn't be allowed to, like any upstanding gun owner would think.
2) Believe that illegal immigration should be stopped.
3) Thinks abortion is wrong.
4) Thinks weed should not be legalized. What's next, heroine?
5) Thinks CAFE and the EPA future rate of ever more stringent requirements is overboard. Death of the Mustang V8 (and other makers) soon will be on the horizon.
6) Thinks more crackdown should happen on crime. Build more jails, enforce death penalty, not years of appeal BS. One retrial only allowed if proved warranted ... then bye-bye to make room for the next criminal.
7) I don't like being taxed to support lazy people who make excuses to get welfare, false injury claims, and similar crap.

Another thing I believe is that government corruption is bad regardless of party. But I guess if I thought it was OK for a POTUS (that I'm brainwashed by) to be corrupt and scheme to gain a personal edge in a future election to win, then that would really make me a true conservative these days.

You still can't follow the discussion ... and won't even answer questions I specifically ask you, your too blinded. Why do you think CNN is "fake news" ... because Trump said it was? Or did you do your own unbiased research to prove they or anyone else beside Fox were not factual? More "directive" from Trump no doubt. Is the info you have on this situation better and more accurate than from the people who where involved and testified to what the wrote, read, saw and heard? Is the info on Fox, etc disputing what they say better and more accurate to what they say? If so, where's the proof?

As far as Sondland's testimony, after hearing him yesterday and what I heard today, it's obvious he was flip-flopping. Even while watching him yesterday he was somewhat contradicting himself at time. And as I said earlier, he is a Trump supporter - $1M donation, hand picked by Trump, knows Trump more than Trump will admit now, talks with cuss words in a good ol' boy fashion when talking to Trump, etc. And he's most likely trying to keep himself out of trouble knowing others testifying (like Hill and Holmes today) would implicate him more than he wants to do himself. I think he wants to stay out of jail.

People clinging on the the "no quid pro quo" nonsense defense are fooling themselves and not seeing the true picture. Any excuse to justify corruption. That's the saddest part about these hearings ... it really shows who the Sargent Schultz types are. And BTW Jordan is a straw grasper with "quid pro quo" because that's his only card to play. In the end it won't work ... that's my prediction.
