I guess I never touched on the sound. The Eaton TVS has far less noise, as its design is a constant velocity where the screw compressor as a low pressure, high pressure, discharge design. The pulsations create far greater noise.
The rest of the noise is induction noise. Because ours is a front feed, the inlet track is much shorter, allowing less time for the induction noise to be dampened by the induction system, thus producing more noise.
