I guess I never touched on the sound. The Eaton TVS has far less noise, as its design is a constant velocity where the screw compressor as a low pressure, high pressure, discharge design. The pulsations create far greater noise.

The rest of the noise is induction noise. Because ours is a front feed, the inlet track is much shorter, allowing less time for the induction noise to be dampened by the induction system, thus producing more noise.

The TVS gets loud when you over spin it.

Dang, your wife didn't notice a $10k dent in your bank account?
She never looks lol.

Traction is an issue. I have 305s on the rear and still spin through 2nd. I'll get some times soon. Just have a few more things to do...I still have the stock clutch lol. Just seeing how long it will last.

So now the dynojet's are incorrect? I'm still not clear on what you feel is incorrect. There have been a few in the 10's with these setups, traction always being the issue. But at that point, you get into the "race car" setup your referring too with suspension mods, better tires/wheels/gears. Where does one draw the line from a fast car to a "race car". You also have to consider, these are 50-state legal, tested and approved, daily drivers. The standard kit is making 675rwhp at nearly the same boost level. Roush customers have to buy pulleys and get custom tunes to get anywhere near 130mph in the 1/4. Even with the free $100 upgrade, there making 100RWHP less with nearly the same boost level. To get comparable power numbers, you have to get new injectors as the 47's are too small. If you want power, your gonna put some ID1000's in there.

Comparing superchargers is one thing, but the "package" is very, very different and they post significant differences.

There are a few car's being converted now that will be posting some results very soon, will be some interesting results.
See, that's just wrong information.....My Gen2 Stg3 VMP TVS kit came with whatever pulley I wanted, ID1000's, and a remote Lund tuning session, with free upgrades. Right out of the box my 79mm pulley (11psi) trapped 130+ in summer heat, 2200ft DA on heavy True Forged 20's, with cats and on pump gas, first trip. Once we make a few tweaks to the tune and go back on a set of wheels and tires in good weather she's gonna go a lot faster. I just don't see a whipple kit significantly outperforming those results on the same psi/conditions, and your kit is over $1000 more then my VMP kit. Don't get me wrong, your kit looks badass and have no doubts on higher boost will outperform a TVS, but I'm betting that your 3.75pulley whipple kit on pump gas isn't going to outrun my 79mm pulley TVS on pump gas, and I'm tired of you thinking your kit of drastically superior.

Not trying to pick a fight, I've just been asking for more then dynojet#'s, and there are a lot of whipple kits out there, and the results are not in yet. Again, I'll be out at Rockingham Nov 14th making pass's, would absolutely love to see how a whipple'd 15 will stack up.

That's pretty nasty Kyle. What car is this on? Is it a Roush car?

I can't wait to see the Phase 2 HP and TQ numbers. I hear it's making it's debut at SEMA this year. Getting close!

So,.....is Phase 3 definitely coming out?
I do recall a Roush video where they did a dyno of a Roush car they were testing that put down almost 800 HP at the wheels. I don't recall the TQ numbers.

Correct, the chart shown is an example of the capabilities. It was put out early on simply to show the blower has no problem supporting those numbers, however that car was not running a kit that will be released, it had the minimum upgrades to hit the number. Without a doubt there will be a Phase 3, its possible to see a Phase 4 for the first time ever but that hasn't been decided entirely. I'd expect a bump for Phase 2, a strong Phase 3, and potentially a very high Phase 4 requiring heavy engine work/shortblock.

I do like how we see cars like the CJ's thrown out there as examples. I dont feel it really applies to the cars on here considering CJ's and COPO's dont have vin numbers and will never see the street anyways, its a totally different ball game. However, the big three companies are quite familiar with TVS, for a legal and reliable street driven vehicle. The new LT4 in the Z06 has a 1.7L TVS, the GT500's 2.3L, the Camaro ZL1 has a 1.9L TVS and the CTSV with its 1.9L TVS for a few examples.

Everything has its place. TVS, Twin Screw, Centri and Turbo. I'll never say that one of those are good for nothing technologies because each one certainly has a spot. But for the average enthusiast, I will stand behind the TVS on a street car that sees the occasional track time. Luckily we are finally getting to that point where the next power levels will be coming out. We wont have to sit and battle it out with keyboards as it has been for the last eight months. You will see the real world numbers and look at what the company stands for and make your decision.

I'm very happy to get up to 700 rwhp when stage 2-3 comes out and call it a day. I'm not a strip guy and I'm not street racing making YouTube videos racing every other can out there. I just wanted a powerful great sounding 5.0 that has the ability to pull away from just about everything if it needed to. I'm very happy with my Ford Racing Roush Kit and the warranty included through my dealer. If this was a 10k car and I wanted 1000 hp for bragging rights I would have done a Hellion kit but I like the fit and finish and the customer support of the Roush Kit. All these kits have their advantages and downsides, however it's great we all have so many options to build different cars rather than have the same exact setups. I do wish I had some whine on mine so hopefully the pulley upgrade will include some but if not I'll still be happy hearing my catback

I'm the one that never looks. my wife always does... That tactic wouldn't work for me. I wouldn't probably get any for a while if i did that without telling her haha
I thought I was being slick buying $20 bundles on Madden since it will show up as Microsoft. Got called out for it, lol. $10k would be castration!

SEMA isnt too far away so it shouldn't be long.
I know. I can't wait. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the Phase 2 will be over 700 HP and maybe 585lbs. of torque. Phase 3 should be killer.
Awesome.

Engine HP, still about 100HP lower than our kit with 132mm TB.

Here's one from Monday, at Tasca, 2015. Car has 44 miles on it, brand new. Stock exhaust, 3.75" SCP.

Can you choose whether or not to go to 7500 rpm when loading the Whipple tune?
