This is directed [MENTION=13288]Whipple SC[/MENTION], reading here and there about this Flight software? Is it Whipple specific? Can Paxton guys use it? Pro charger guys use it? Or myself being Roush? Newb. question please give me a break I do not know everything.

99.9% sure that this is specific to Whipple.

Unfortunately for non Whipple guys this will not work for them.

Well damn. I am looking for a good tuning source and am in research mode on what to do. Then I read a couple threads of timing gear failures and that led to looking at crate engines. LOL. Just the little reading on this if I had to make an uneducated guess I would guess it is detonation related. Whipple SCs comments made sense.

Definitely do your homework, that's the best thing you can do. I'm not sure if/who had TG failures but not one single person running a Whipple has that much I know.

I can't speak for other kits or tuners but it's been said that it's not something to worry about. Some of us (self included) did it anyway because..... America lol

Lund since you can't have a whipple tune. I have a Lund tune and it is good but I will admit that I am jealous of the whipple tune. I'm going to dyno my car soon. I have pretty much the same setup that jmeo and gxsr1300 have. If my power is significantly lower, I will be doing everything needed to switch to whipple's tune.

Ok I'm wondering what the MAIN item that produces the HP is with these kits...I'm seeing huge differences in HP from what looks like basically the same kits, 72lb injectors, 132tb etc....do headers really add that much? What is the difference between Dat Boi and 642 hp, vs Jmeo @765 hp and others....what am I missing?

I read that one member only had 3,000 miles on his car when this happened. I have 410 miles on car now so am counting the miles. :)

You can still get great power out of the TVS. Doodguy is on a Lund tune and making a lot of power with the supporting mods. Also look at Kelly's beast.

The flight control is just flat out amazing. I would love to have it.

Hm. It asks for both VIN and SC#. I have everything else in my email ready to go minus that #.

Sc number is for our records. It's on the work order and on the top of the bearing plate.

It's currently Whipple only as its specific to the torque model of our sc, injectors, throttle body, etc. it could be done to others but it's a lot of work, time and know how so at this point it will only be with our sc.
